Brand Vaughn made what seem like an impossible sale (due to timing with the market) actually happen, after 3 years of trying, against all the odds and we are so grateful to them for making the process so simple and they went above and beyond what would usually be expected. We found them straightforward to deal with, honest right from the start about expectations and they followed through on their commitments whilst keeping us posted all the time. Each and every member of staff communicated with us professionally and we are proud to have used them and be able to recommend them highly.

I was helped into a rental property by Michael McCormack. I can honestly say his customer service and knowledge has been invaluable. He has spent some time on the phone with me and helped me through my whole process.Which I really appreciate. I’ve spoken to a few estate agents who just see you as a number. Micheal made me feel like he cared that I can have a chance to get into the rental market. Which ment the world while I was going through a really hard time. Annabelle was very helpful, I couldn’t be more grateful for everything she done for me. I was having to go through the moving and renting process while my son was in hospital having a major invasive surgery and she has been brilliant with me. We managed to get through it all and move me into my new home all without adding any extra stress or pressure onto me. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help and guide me through the process. 100% recommend Annabelle and charters to anyone!

GoogleIf i could give less than 1 star I would. Instead of ranting here are the need to know points: - Tried to force no deposit option on us (which makes tenants liable for all internal repairs and they have to pay more each month) - Severe delays in repairing an internally leaking tap that was reported in a timely fashion (landlord lives abroad and didn’t want to pay money for it). Would not support us to resolve or out pressure on the landlord which left us with a £750 water bill. - Property was never cleaned prior to us moving in, broken window, broken furnishings, dangerous entranceway, black mould in grouting, all of which we were assured would be resolved prior to us moving in. - Tried to charge us with a huge exit cleaning fee to return to the state of ‘professionally cleaned’ that it was on move in, but then couldn’t provide us with any invoice for the move in clean so they obviously never did it and were just trying to rinse us, again. All in all the WORST experience with estate agents in over 10 years of renting in Brighton. Steer well clear.

GoogleAfter over 10 years with my previous agency, the transition following its acquisition by BV was understandably challenging, especially when it came to transferring so much knowledge. That said, the past six months have been really positive. There have been clear improvements driven by strong leadership, and it’s been great to see the team being empowered to do their best work. A big thanks to Dylan and Connor for their excellent approach and support, they’ve made a real difference. Overall, a very encouraging experience and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.

I have had an amazing experience with Brand Vaughan. I invited three agents to come round to value my property. Tom stood out by a country mile with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the area. He was confident he would sell my property within a week and for over the asking price which I thought could be slightly ambitious. Tom introduced me to Dee and she came round to familiarise herself with the property ahead of the viewings and planned open day. I cannot rate and recommend Dee highly enough, She Has been a delight to deal with her communication is open quick and at all times I’ve been kept up-to-date with developments. True to their word, I did sell my property within a week and for over the asking price and I genuinely feel that Tom and Dee Are the best estate agents I’ve ever worked with. They have totally had my back. I felt supported valued and we have worked brilliantly together. They are both a huge asset to this company and personify what best in class estate agents in the rest of the Brighton & Hove should aspire to. Jay has always found good tenants for me for a small portfolio of residential properties over several years. He is responsive, understands my needs and knows the market. He has found tenants for me on more than 10 occasions and I have always been satisfied. I have always attained a decent rental for the market at the time and the process is seamless. No ridiculous promises, just good service. Fees are competitive vs. other agents too. My son and three of his friends reserved accommodation with Brand Vaughan. I signed as the guarantor for my son and paid the deposit and advance rent. On the 18th Sept, he received an email stating that his accommodation is cancelled and he was supposed to collect keys on the 19th Sept, his classes starting on the 23rd September. I saw the stress and frustration on my son's face when all this happened and fortunately for him and his friends, the University was able to provide accommodation in campus albeit more expensive. Still very grateful for the university to step in at the last minute to save the day. My deposit and advance is returned and I am not writing a review to have a go at Brand Vaughan. This review is to warn all students to do some research before committing yourselves to such companies. If my son and his friends had done their research and read the reviews here, they would not have gone anywhere near Brand Vaughan based at 14 The Waterfront, Brighton Marina, BN2 5WA. Thank you for the response, however, the alternative accommodation offered was meant for 5 tenants and the onus of finding the 5th tenant was on my son and his friends. Failure to find the additional tenant in 2 months would have resulted in the rent being divided by 4 and hence, stating that the offer was for the same rent is not actually true.. So please respond stating the full picture and with honesty. I have only put this review to help future students.

Unfortunately, the landlord withdrew the let the day before the move-in date, which was beyond our control. We did find alternative accommodation at the same price on the same day, but this was declined, and a full refund was issued immediately. We understand your frustration and appreciate you sharing your experience.

We could not have asked for better support in what turned out to be a long and complicated process. The team at the Preston Park branch were fabulous. Toby was our initial contact, advising us on asking price and then arranging viewings and securing a buyer. He immediately made us feel confident and included in the process. We had complete faith in him. As such, we were a little nervous when we were moved to the sales progression team. Pleased to say that our concerns were unfounded. Holly Davis was superb from day 1. She kept us informed throughout and formed a bridge between us and the buyer- her reassurance and support was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Brand and Vaughan . Right from the start she went out of her way to fit in a viewing at short notice, she advised on how to rearrange the flat to show it to the best advantage and got it on the market quickly. GoogleWe cannot recommend Darren, George (Taylor), and the team at Brand Vaughan highly enough. If there were 6 stars, they'd genuinely deserve it. Darren sold our flat STC within 4 days. However, our purchase turned into an extremely tortuous and stressful process. Several times during the buying of the house and subsequent renegotiations it looked like the sale had fallen through. We were truly fortunate to have Darren and George to manage our flat sale through the very many difficulties of our house purchase, which lasted all of 5 months. We are now happily moved into our new home and it's in no small part due to Brand Vaughan. "Thank you."

Ollie and Sue were both personable, charming and very supportive in keeping the buyer with us in what proved to be a long and difficult sale. Without them, I think I'd have lost a very good price for my late mother's property. Darren was lighting quick and efficient in organising clearance of the property immediately contracts were exchanged, well in advance of completion. All in all, a highly efficient and thoroughly professional team.

From the first moment until the handover of the keys, everyone I have dealt with, but especially Connor and Michael, have been incredibly helpful, patient and understanding. The whole experience of having to find a new home (at a short notice and after a difficult personal circumstance), to go through the process of checks and finalising everything, has been made more bearable with the help of this team.
