Excellent customer service

Well, what can we say! If we could give the whole sales team at Henry Adams Selsey 50 stars, we would! They held our hand through the rough patches we experienced in selling our bungalow, (no fault of theirs, just the general public’s flippant attitude towards everything nowadays it seems!), and they supported us through to a very satisfactory conclusion. They also went above and beyond with their customer service towards us, in checking our empty property was ok after several storms, collecting post, taking meter readings for us etc etc. They really put our minds at rest whenever we had any worries or issues. We can’t recommend them highly enough! If you are looking for brilliant customer service, from a trustworthy, empathic team, you won’t go far wrong in giving Kev, Matt or Tracy a call at Henry Adams, Selsey. Never ever would I deal with this company again. Their unprofessional and completely uncaring attitude throughout my dealings with them has left a very bitter taste. I have never dealt with such difficult agents who have showed not one iota of decent customer service. I am just so saddened and disappointed. Really disappointing interaction with…

Really disappointing interaction with Henry Adams when we were looking for a holiday rental for 2 weeks in July 2025. We consciously wanted to try alternatives to AirBnB, so contacted Henry Adams. Despite many properties 'appearing' to be available, in reality they were not. Combine this with some slow responsiveness from Henry Adams and it took us 3 weeks for Henry Adams to tell us they couldn't help us. Went back and booked with AirBnB

Cant fault the Storrington Lettings team.

We initially dealt with Alex from the Storrington branch, he was exactly what you would hope for, very polite and courteous, and he had a good knowledge of the property, landlord and surrounding area. Alex was more than happy to answer our endless questions during the process and kept us informed on the progress of our application. An utterly nice young man. We have also met and spoken to a number of other members of the team including Emma and James who have helped us with questions and some requests for permission which they have facilitated with the landlord. The polite and friendly disposition is shared by the whole team. I would recommend Henry Adams to anyone, landlord or tenant, buyer or seller, you will be in safe hands.

We bought a house through Henry Adams and was lucky enough to have the pleasure of Gemma overseeing the process. All the staff from speaking to Henry Adams on the phone lovely and polite throughout. Gemma has a lovely way about her. Not only is she professional but a very kind person who always had the time to speak to me on the phone over the silly questions I may have had. Anyone that decided to go with Henry Adams will be in great hands and anyone who may have the opportunity to have gemma as your estate agent will be lucky. Disgraceful Service from Henry Adams Horsham

We found a house that we liked that was listed for sale with Henry Adams Horsham. After viewing the property, we decided to put our house on the market subject to our offer being provisionally accepted which we were assured that it would be by the estate agent from Henry Adams. We sold our house through Henry Adams very quickly only to then be told that our offer was not accepted. The estate agent had lied just to make the sale. We reluctantly increased our offer and, after weeks of back and forth, we finally came to an agreement.During our initial viewing, we noted that there were a couple of areas that were water marked. We were informed that one area in a bedroom was going to be looked at by the owner, and the other area in the garage the estate agent decided to immediately, and without request for her opinion, inform us was from an old leak. We were then told that the leak in the bedroom was not going to be investigated by the owner and that nothing of the sort had ever been suggested. The old leak in the garage turned out to be an existing leak and this week the ceiling came down followed by an awful lot of water.On the day of completion, we had until 14:00 to vacate our previous property. At 11:00 I received a call from Henry Adams asking "If we were out yet?". I informed them that were likely to be finished around 12:30. My wife then received another call from Henry Adams stating that "the property is no longer legally yours so you need to be out!".Overall our experience with Henry Adams, and one female estate agent in particular, was awful. She told nothing but lies just to make a sale and we have since learnt, without even mentioning any names, that my wife's colleague pulled out of a purchase through Henry Adams as a direct result of the estate agent in question's conduct. We would never use this company for the sale or purchase of a property again.

This is the most horrible letting agent I have ever encountered in my life, they're a nightmare. their activities and tendency to collude with landlords to rip you off your holding deposit runs against the acts of the UK paliaments, I can give you several tenants identities they have ripped off, a searchlight needs to be conducted into their activities if the labour government which we voted for will survive in their plans for housing in that axis.
