I chose to use Chalk Street because they were recommended to me and I'm really glad that I did. From the beginning of the process of selling my property, nothing has been too much trouble. Lee, Linda and Faye have guided me patiently through the marketing and selling and even assisted me with the paperwork required. Every step has been undertaken professionally and thoroughly without pressure or disruption to my life, taking some of the stress out of a potentially difficult time. Excellent experience so far with the guys at Chalk Street. Both Lois and Ben have been brilliant in handling the early stages of our purchase. The person-centred approach that they adopt is evident from the very beginning and it makes for a refreshing experience from an estate agent. We can't fault their communication so far and we are hoping that we can continue to work together with Chalk Street and the sellers (who have also been a pleasure to deal with so far) to complete as soon as possible. We saw Ben today and we can honestly say we're very happy he is a part of the team looking after this transaction as he was approachable, informative and professional. Finding an estate agent that isn’t your typical estate agent is hard to come by but Chalk street smashed it out the park. From start to finish it was refreshing, no hard sell/ always available to speak too/ fighting our corner. They weren’t in it just for the sale but we felt like they genuinely cared. We have actually moved out of area now but I would not hesitate to use chalk street again if I was to sell my new place despite being 30+ miles away. Thank you for restoring my faith in estate agents, you truly deserve every success

Estate agent that likes to choose and control their choice of families and individuals that enquire to view properties. Very selective based on the buyers budget and always seem to have a waiting list for buyers that will never get to view properties because of the estate agent's preferential choice of buyer.
Thanks for your comments. Indeed, we are selective with regards to who is able to visit our properties as we go the extra mile to fully understand a buyers situation and budget before agreeing to a viewing. Primarily, this is to protect our clients best interests and also not to waste anyone's time.With respect to '....control their choice of families or individuals' we find this extremely offensive. This absolutely has nothing to do with the reason why you were unable to view our property. When we list a property, we work with our vendors to establish their availability and create a viewing schedule. Some are able to accommodate lots of viewings over a number of days, some are not. There is no set rule here - it is as simple as that.Once this becomes fully booked for that week, then we create a waiting list and will apply a 'first come, first served' rule in order to be as fair as possible. If an existing viewing is cancelled or the property fails to sell, then we always contact those on the waiting list and schedule a viewing accordingly. The property you attempted to view was fully booked within 24 hours of our advert going live (20+ viewings) with a waiting list of approximately the same size. Subsequently, we received several offers and the property sold within 5 days of going to market. Whilst the market remains extremely active, all we can suggest is to remain attentive and request a viewing as soon as possible once a property becomes available.

After struggling to sell with another estate agent, Chalk Street found a buyer extremely rapidly. The photographer they used made the house look better than it was. A fee was agreed quickly and although the red tape took longer than was necessary, it all got done in the end
