The viewing we did at a property of theirs allowed us the time and space to see the house thoroughly and our questions about it were all answered on the spot. James himself took time to have a detailed, wide-ranging conversation with me about house prices in Hitchin, in which his experience, clarity and honesty shone through in the advice he gave. We were (first-time) buyers of a house with a legally complex transaction process which would have simply not concluded/completed without James as our captain of a ship on a trip of what initially looked like smooth sailing, but quickly turned into a wild storm at open sea.
The deal was at the brink of collapsing 2-3 times due to undoubtedly challenging circumstances to both seller and buyer and James weaved the (emotional) thread necessary to ship it home safely.
I am convinced successful completion would have not been possible had the (first-time) seller instructed Joe Bloggs from High Street Estate Agency.
We already know who to call should we outgrow our new home.

GoogleWellington Evans were truly outstanding and acted for me way beyond any usual remit that might be attributed to ordinary Estate Agents. I was faced with some difficult circumstances in selling a property in Hitchin in summer 2022. It is not a geographic area with which i have any familiarity. By chance i was recommended to Wellington Evans. All the way through the process from the simple but practical suggestions to house layout for the photography, dealing with the open house weekend and the substantial viewings generated through their carefully targeted marketing campaign (at no extra cost I must add) and dealing with the validation of the prospective buyer's credentials their service was exemplary. Even when, at the 11th hour, a problem arose around exchange and completion, Wellington Evans rose to that challenge with their years of experience and connections within the financial marketplace and everything worked, almost like clockwork! But well within the timeframe that I had requested at the start of the process. I would suggest than anyone who wants a true professional approach and management of selling a property then forget the rest, Wellington Evans will give you the best experience and more than likely the best result.

They valued our house, talked us through all the selling options and guided us through everything. The pictures were taken and 2 days later we were on the market.
