GoogleHad a great experience both with our purchase and sale. James was straight forward and honest throughout and they delivered on what they said they would. When snagging issues arose Wellington Evans helped us to navigate these and keep things moving. Should we ever move again, they will be our first point of call.

The team at Wellington Evans tailored their approach to selling my property to suit it location, size and the prevailing economic environments. They gave realistic and honest advice which allowed me make well informed decisions. Even when one offer fell through they replaced it the same same day with another. They are well deserving of their 5 * review.

GoogleJames from Wellington Evan’s was amazing throughout the whole process of me trying to sell my Dad’s house. His complete honesty was refreshing and reassuring. At no point did I not think he wouldn’t do what was right by me and also the buyer. His knowledge of the market and legal matters were particularly helpful too. James really cares about his clients and this is invaluable when going through something as big and often as stressful as trying to sell or buy a house.

Zoe had received some of the worst, and indeed compromising, advice from her previous agent leaving her exposed to two contract fees (neither were ours). GoogleJames and Nick helped guide us through a slightly challenging and frustrating move with patience and clear expertise. We originally chose W. E. as the agent to market our house with their refreshing and creative sales offering. Their approach, owning some of the risk around fee gave us confidence in their commitment to our sale. We also know both are local and fully understand the market. As part of our move we got to witness first hand the effect of "high volume" agents and so having this much more personal service really helped us. We would highly recommend using their service.

GoogleIf you don’t want to sell your house really quickly, don’t start a conversation with these guys 😅 We got the ball rolling for putting our house on the market in March, it’s now July and we are sold and moving into our new house in three days time. We had one day of viewings and sold at asking price. The photos were EXCELLENT and honestly made me want to rebuy our own home 😂 Every step with the team at Wellington Evans has been fuss free, and transparent. We’ve not been bombarded with calls from them trying to upsell mortgage advisors etc as you get CONSTANTLY with the chain Estate agents (IYKYK). Anytime I’ve needed a question answered it’s been Nick or James who answer the phone and respond if not instantly, within minutes. Customer service is 10/10 If you’re looking to sell your home and are worried that being a smaller independent company will be a negative, I can absolutely whole heartedly say this is not the case. Now that we’ve sold through these guys, and have viewed what felt like hundreds of properties (many through the big chains) I couldn’t think of anything worse than selling through a big chain agent. They have so many agendas that aren’t customer centric (I just watched an interesting documentary on BBC one about it actually! And my experience with the chains was very similar to what I saw on the doc!) We weren’t even sure we wanted to sell to begin with but after our first meeting with Nick we decided to just take a leap of faith and see where we landed and how glad we are that we did! Thank you thank you thank you for making this whole experience SOOOOO easy and breezy. For something that is meant to be the most stressful time in a persons life, we have been blessed to have had our hands held (and our property sold) by such pros.

Prior to viewing he provided me the most detailed briefing of a property I've ever received, and during viewing he was very helpful and forthcoming with advice. If I was selling, I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys. They're clearly experienced, and dedicated to providing a top service.
