GoogleA change in name from Acorn to Lenwell will not change the disgusting practices of this estate agent. I have now been living in a house for 6 months with no running water or toilet which I rented through Lenwell (or Acorn) from rouge landlord Mr Michael J Chillery of beechlea, kings Walden Road and all Lenwell had to say is we don't manage the property so we couldn't care less yet they can send me letters thinking at the end of the tenancy I will clean this scumbags house top to bottom, dream on. Update: as you can tell by lenwells reply to my review they have no humanity at all and refused to contact the landlord on my behalf, they can run so many various checks on tenants but to my knowledge not one single check was run on the landlord.
Thank you for your review. As you know, Acorn were instructed by the landlord to provide a tenant introduction service only and the landlord would manage the property himself. Acorn applied for your references, the landlord accepted you but after that the tenancy was direct with the landlord, you paid rent direct to the landlord and any maintenance issues would have been directed to him. Acorn/Lenwell did not and do not manage the property as we explained to you when you called, if you had issues with the property you should have taken this up with your landlord as we advised you to do.
