I used Lenwell to find me a rental property in Hitchin. The agents were very helpful. They understood my personal needs and situation which allowed them to refine the search to appropriate properties. In the end, this led to me being able to rent a great property which wasn't up for rental at the time of my search but allowed me to plan ahead and wait. Following my move, they have been very helpful in solving any issues that arose in the early days. The property itself was in good shape but perhaps could have been cleaned a little deeper before I moved in. The staff at the Hitchin branch with whom I dealt - Pat and Paula especially - are lovely, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend Lenwell if you're looking to rent in Hitchin.

It was my first big move relocating to a new town in Hitchin. I managed to find a unit through Lenwell which was handled by Patrycja Tkaczyk. Overall, I am very satisfied with the delivery and professionalism provided Pat! Stress free and no fuss at all. The entire moving experience with Pat was great! She is very prompt and diligent in her handling. The communication with the Hitchin team e.g. to Paula (when Pat was engaged/away) was great too! Everyone is very helpful. I would totally endorsed and recommend her and the Hitchin's Lenwell team to anyone looking for a unit at Hitchin. Great work again Pat! :)

A very professional and caring agent. Leia certainly went the extra mile for us. She did a great! She was very tolerant of our situation and trusted us implicitly. She moved things along very promptly and efficiently on our behalf. Unfortunately Leaders are not managing the property. Lots of small niggles with the property when we moved in which were not the fault of Leaders but of a careless landlord. Would I use Leaders again? YES every time. A top drawer company with very personable staff.

I've dealt with a lot of letting agents during my search for a flat and managed to arrange a viewing for one with Leia at Leaders. I expressed an interest in a property that I believe I was the first to view, and asked about the next steps and was told scheduled viewings were being honoured which was fair. Did not hear anything back other than to be sold their tenancy insurance and when I asked for a timeline I got no response. Even called the office and was told Leia would get back to me but never got a follow up. Saw today that the property has been let. I have no issues with the flat being let since I understand that that is up to the landlord but the lack of communication other than to push insurance is frustrating. Please do better.

Please steer clear of this agency. Before moving to Hitchin I was fooled by their cheery staff, but after spending two years renting with Hitchin, the only things I can say about Acorns is how unethical, duplicitous and deceitful they are. Anyone that lives in Hitchin knows how bad their reputation is and that they take on Landlords are on the cusp of the law yet their ethics are beyond questionable. If you're a slum landlord and don't want to pay anything out... then Acorns are your guys. If you have any respect for your tenants and want a harmonious relationship with them and have pride in your property, then steer clear. #ventyourrent
