I experienced renting two properties from this company and afterwards would never deal with them again. The second occasion an issue was raised and we terminate the contract early. They tried to screw us out of three months rent just to cancel the contract which is illegal, fortunately we found a government document about unfair charges and they immediately backed down. There was a whole mountain of other completely unreasonable charges. The bottom line is they will always side with the landlord and get as much money out of you as possible. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Time to buy

I purchased my property through country properties and from the first viewing until completion they were really on the ball, pushing solicitors to do their thing. They communicated well with me the buyer so that knew what was happening at different stages. I enjoy the whole process of moving but even then it can at times be stressful but country properties were good at distressing. I would use them to sell my property but not for many years yet.

I would 100% recommend Country Properties. They have been brilliant from start to finish with the sale of our house. Every person we have spoken to has been professional, friendly, efficient and kept us up to date clearly at all times regarding where we were up to. A really brilliant estate agency and I would recommend to anyone. Sasha in particular has regularly gone above and beyond what she had to do and has been brilliant.

We chose Country Properties to sell the house largely because they promised a first class chasing service to see a deal through from an offer to completion. Although our purchasers acted very properly there seemed to be an endless string of delays with questions from lenders and surveyors that needed sorting out. Having Becky keeping chasing to resolve these issues and keeping everyone informed was essential to a successful outcome.

Called multiple times over 2 days to try and book in viewings and kept being told I would be called back but this didn't happen. Really disappointing that I never even got far enough to leave them a review on how they were with viewings as it never got that far. In the time it took for me to get hold of someone to try and arrange viewings, some of the properties had been let. I personally do not recommend them to anyone. They are courteous but not so helpful especially if you a foreigner or else they did not reject all of my viewing requests, without any pre-check or personal encounter, with excuses like "...that will be to many people to live in this property" or "...wear and tear reasons" only on the basis of my name. On these excuses, my native colleagues laughed out loud. We never were been in a business relationship earlier with them (or any other agency) and we are a couple with good references, in full employment for a longer-term, so I do not know what about they are talking... Everyone can decide about the cooperation with them or form their private opinion. :/ (1 star just because with zero I was unable to post the review)
