GoogleI've used Picker Elliott many times over the past 5 years to buy, sell and let property. I can't speak highly enough of all the team, every time I've used them they've been friendly, professional and easy to deal with. All queries and tasks have been completed to a really high standard and promises are always kept. Their pricing is also very reasonable and you definitely get value for money. Steve in particular is really down to earth and easy to deal with, he has helped me out lots of times with honest and trustworthy advice. He's always done the best thing for me as a person and has gone out of his way to support me for which I'm greatly appreciated of.

They put a great deal of care into what they do and how they treat their customers, you can really tell that from the service we received. I would definitely recommend Picker Elliot and will certainly be using them in the future.

GoogleWhen selling our house we found Picker Elliott amazing, Steve, Karen and Mary were very easy to speak to and very knowledgable they supported us step by step through our sale and at no point did we feel pressured or rushed Would I use them again, yes 100%

GoogleAbsolutely awful. I had found the perfect property to rent but I was time limited in viewing due to work commitments. I only had one shot at this and Their office agreed that Steve would turn up at the viewing with documents to sign and he would take reference fees in cash. When I viewed the property and asked to sign the forms he told me that he didn’t have them with him and he couldn’t take the fee because he couldn’t give me a receipt. I said how much I wanted the property and I didn’t want to be pipped to the post but I had to leave for london. Steve said that they would email me the forms and I could pay the fees by BACS. After repeated phone calls to their office all afternoon with no forms sent I was finally told at 4.30pm that someone else had submitted their forms at 3pm and they would be put forward as the new tenet. If Steve had done what he said he would do my application would have been in first. I lost out on a great house for me and my daughter because they clearly had no intention of letting it to me. It felt like a complete stitch up.

Rather inaccurate, Clive. We had already told you cash could not be taken on a viewing (it was also you who brought the appointment to view forward, I have no idea how this makes it our responsibility for you being time limited) I got back to the office and someone else was there with completed forms for the same property, already dealing with a member of my team. We rang you to let you know, where you expressed your disappointment. We spoke with the landlord and they agreed that you could submit your forms so they would choose who they wished to have as a tenant. They chose the other applicants. Thank you for taking the time to write.

TrustpilotStay well clear!
Very poor service after a cancelled sale. Sent an invoice for payment with no date a sent it to a debt collector in less than 30 days giving me no time to pay! They then reduced the bill to off set an EPC cert they didn’t do before I paid. Since then every 3 months they chase me for the extra. They will not respond to any correspondence! Stay well clear!

GooglePicker Elliott are an independent local agent who were great to work with on the recent sale of the property. I found the whole team to be extremely friendly and professional, where they manage to find the difficult balance between me as a seller and the buyer's expectations. The local knowledge of the market and the solicitors also helped in expediting and completing the sale within our time-frame. The team always demonstrated a "can do" attitude and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I have now bought once and sold once through Picker Elliott and the experience on both occasions has both been very positive. I for one have no issues in recommending Picker Elliott.

GoogleIt is easy to overlook Picker Elliot in the gaggle of estate agents along Castle Street. However, we were very happy we chose them. Steve Picker and his office staff are friendly and efficient. They offer a very good value service (in comparison with what other estate agents charge) and do as much, if not more, than competitors in dealing with the paperwork, arranging viewings, providing feedback, and they are well plugged into the local network of solicitors (should you need them). At a distance, my elderly mother sold a house in the Hinckley area within only a few weeks, so she was well pleased.

GoogleJust one experience with this lot is enough to say no more. They are very unprofessional and a bunch of liars and fixers. I viewed a property with this lot and wanted to put an application for it but they insisted that I waited till Monday as the property was viewed on a Saturday. I even offered to pay a deposit to secure the property but Zoe, who I spoke to completely refused and said that I had to wait till Monday. 2 hours later she rang me to tell me that someone else had just come in to put an application for the same property. The only thing they care about is that someone rents the property and do not care about professionalism or treating people fairly. What they do not know is that we are looking to buy soon and have now struck them off our list of agents to deal with in the Hinckley area. I will not recommend them at all and would suggest that you think twice if you were thinking of using them to sell or rent your property.

GoogleI used Picker Elliot to sell my house, which completed in June. They gave an amazing service. They were responsive, helpful and extremely professional and friendly during the sale. My house sold very quickly and the sale progressed smoothly when the pandemic allowed!! I would absolutely recommend Picker Elliott, and will 100% use them again if I sell or let a house in the future.
