We decided to make a move after we both retired and approached AKS as they had successfully sold a number of houses on our street. Wow !! The service we got from them was absolutely first class from the first valuation with Andrew, the photo shoot with Sam and Victoria helping us through the final stages. Not forgetting Ben who was also very active in the process. The communication was excellent, even creating a WhatsApp group for us all so any question could be asked with very quick responses. Amazing! So I had no dealing with ASK with regards to real estate (continue reading) but I can confirm that if I needed an estate agent in the area I would highly recommend. I, like a fool, accidentally delivered packages to an old address that by chance is now on the market with AKS. I live hundreds of miles away and really could not afford to lose the money associated with my error. I called AKS to see if they could help… Ann (lovely lady) took it upon herself to help in every way possible. She took time out of her busy schedule, picked up my package, helped me ensure the package was returned to sender - used her personal time to contact me and dropped off packages to a post office… all over several days! If they treat me like this I have no doubt they would treat their clients with the same humanity, going above their duty. Thanks again Ann and the the rest of the team that helped me!

From start to finish AKS have been absolutely brilliant. After having our property on the market with another agent for several months with little communication or interest shown we received a Christmas box from Andrew and the AKS team. I instantly thought that if they go to this much trouble to get houses to sell then they would try their best to sell ours and I wasn’t wrong. From the minute I met Andrew he was brilliant, advising on how to market the property and how he and the team would go about selling our house. Then came Ben who was equally brilliant, they arranged 5 viewings within the first day (this is more than the previous agent had arranged in 4 months!)and Ben carried all of these out, giving us positive and negative feedback in an honest and professional way. Two weeks later and several more viewings all carried out by Ben and we had a firm offer on the table, which we accepted 😁. The praise doesn’t stop there though, our sale was complicated due to location, covenants, management companies and being in a conservation area, but Victoria managed this part of the sale and we can not praise her highly enough. Her communication to both ourselves and the buyer was superb, she communicated with the solicitors from both parties, ironed out minor issues and was always available to advise on the best way to keep the sale moving forward. She is an absolute credit to the company. In short I would highly recommend anyone to sell or buy from AKS. I could not have wished or asked for more from them.

5 stars just doesn't seem enough AKS have been absolutely amazing throughout the whole selling process of our house. They took over from another agent we had been with and within 48 hours of taking it on they had sold our property. They were there every step of the way with encouraging words of support and advice, they always looked on the positive side of things and gave you hope and picked you up when things got tough. Dealing with AKS has been like dealing with friends, you could trust that when they said something was going to be done it would be and they would keep you up to date as to what was happening and when. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them they always wanted to ensure that we were happy and satisfied that we knew what was happening and what the next steps were. If I decide to move again I wouldn't need to even think about it AKS would be my first and only choice of agent to go to.

The team were always extremely prompt in responding and communicating all the way through from the initial marketing to the sales progression. A particularly big thank you goes to Victoria who did an excellent job in helping resolve some last minute delays and who kept me well informed of progress throughout these challenges. Her approach was always prompt but also personable and reassuring and because of this, I would wholeheartedly recommend this team to all friends and family. I also feel well placed to make this judgement after a frustratingly poor experience with another other "well reviewed" estate agent only 12 months prior and so I'm now extremely happy I found AKS. Selling my parents house recently turned into a much longer process than expected. The initial sales process went without a hitch. The sale board went up on a Thursday, we had 4 showings on Friday, followed by 3 offers (all over the asking price). We accepted one of the offers just 24 hours after the board going up. You cant ask for better than that. But then it all slowed down. Not the fault of AKS I have to say, but a ridiculously busy housing market due to stamp duty holidays and solicitors that had taken on far too many cases for them to cope with effectively . When things are not quite going according to plan is when you see a service provider in their true colours and the AKS team stepped up. They were there every step of the way, helping us to keep our buyer informed of the situation and effectively managing expectations and communications between all parties. A truly professional service. I run my own financial services business and although this is the first time I have used AKS for a sale of my own, I have recommended their services to a number of my own clients over the years and have never had any negative feedback. AKS helped my mum move from a home of over 40 years to the most perfect bungalow in what was an emotional time for her and some incredible work by them. Three properties in the chain, all being sold by AKS, it was a very busy moving day for everyone but they were there for it all.
