GoogleLakin & Co have been amazing to deal with. From Start to finish they been Responsive and friendly, they have made my experience easy and I would highly recommend them. If I ever need an estate agent again. They will be the first one I contact. Glenn and Nicola are the two people I dealt with and I can't express enough how wonderful they was.

GoogleAs a landlord , Chris Lakin and his team are absolutely unbeatable , I have had the pleasure of being well and truly looked after by Robert , Thomas and Michelle . Properties are never vacant , in four years tenants may change but properties were never empty. You could not meet a more friendly , efficient and professional company .I have recommended Lakin to other landlords who have also been delighted . They even manage to find tenants that treat your property as their own. If you are looking for a brilliant service at great rates Lakin are top of the pile

GoogleDue to my previous Review being removed I have had to amend and repost for the second time. I used this estate agent to rent a flat in West London. The sign up process was quick and simple. Once I had moved in the nightmare begun. The flat had fleas and wasn’t professionally cleaned. After a few calls and emails both were rectified. Biggest issue I came across during the tenancy was a dispute about a crack that started to appear in the bedroom wall. After going back and forth over a few months via emails, calls, reports, inspections and visits I was told by the director of Lakin and Co that the wall would be fixed during a visit to the property. A few workmen came on different occasions to give quotes for the wall repair..... but no work was completed. The tenancy ended and the wall was not repaired. To my disgust Lakin & Co had to audacity to place a deduction from my deposit for the cost of repairing the wall (plus other uncalled for deductions), which started to disintegrate at no fault of my own. After disputing these deductions via the official deposit scheme all costs were removed and I was paid back near to my full deposit. I won the case. I have never been treated in such a manner by any company in my life. I will never use their services again and would not recommend anyone else to either. This is my honest experience with this company, I hope my review won’t be removed again.

GoogleWe've been renting with Lakin & Co since December 2017 and it's been great! The team is amazing and extremely professional. Anytime we've had any issue, they'd usually get it sorted on the same day if possible and if not, it would as fast as the next day. I cannot praise them enough as they have been great throughout the pandemic/lockdown period as well, whenever we needed any help. Communication is very good and they anticipate our needs and do everything possible to offer us a 5 star experience. GoogleWe chose Larkin & Co as our property manager to help us with leasing our house due to us moving to Canada. We had used them in the past as renters ourselves and loved that everyone we dealt with was friendly, honest and professional. They were very diligent during the pandemic, especially when we had potential tenants viewing the house. I am so pleased we had Michelle & Chris helping us get to grips with everything that is required to lease a property. They were quick to respond to queries and very supportive. They took all the stress out of finding the right tenant and we have piece of mind here in Canada that the property is being well managed. GoogleCan only highly recommend Lakin and Co, as the most thorough and caring estate agencies in West London. After months of looking for a suitable place to live, and constantly loosing out at the last minute and beginning to lose hope. I finally spoke with Yvonne at the Uxbridge office. She listened to all my preferences patiently and got a good understanding of what I was searching for. She called me back within an hour and told me, she’d found the perfect place. She recommended I view it as soon as possible, which I did. Happy to say I’m now living in my perfect home. Every member of staff was wonderful, helping me through all the stages of references, contracts, hand overs etc. Can not thank each member of the Lakin and Co team enough. Any future moves they will be my number one!

GoogleI was quite impressed by this estate agent and how professional they were. It took a bit of time to find the right tenants for us, but are very happy with the ones they eventually found for us. Managed to achieve a rent very close to the asking price. We had excellent support during the process of preparing the house for the tenants and paperwork. We were also impressed that they work really long hours and are very committed. Can only recommend and would definitely entrust them with my property again rather than the larger estate agents on the high street.

Yvonne being the inbetween to get the right match for us as well as the home owners, was perfect! Later on, we got to interact with Nicole who helped us navigate through the required documentations - Thank you for your swift responses to our queries. Lauren & Harry from the property management team was super helpful in getting us settled in and kind to answer the neverending email chains. Safe to say, we are extremely pleased and comment their work ethics and passion. The whole team worked as a well oiled engine and made the daunting task of finding a new home easy! GoogleOutstanding letting agent. I've been with Lakin & Co for 4 years now, and in that time the service has been outstanding in every sense. After 3.5 years of renting a flat in Uxbridge via Lakin, we were instructed that the landlord wanted to move into his property at the end of our agreed term. Soon after hearing the news, we received a call from Chris Lakin to reassure us his team would do everything they could to help us find a new property, this was a lovely personal touch which we really appreciated. A special mention goes to the excellent Michelle who was supportive, patient and efficient throughout the process. The staff all round are great over the time we have been with Lakin & Co. The icing on the cake was when Lakin waived the agent fee for the new property. It's great to see a company in the letting industry care about customers and reward loyalty. I highly recommend Lakin and Co to all!!

GoogleAll round excellent and very professional experience with the team at Lakin & Co throughout the house search process and eventual move. The team is all very friendly and lifted all the weight off the house move. As one member of the team mentioned 'their business is to match homes to the right owners', this was my experience. Paper work was handled very smoothly and efficiently with regular updates on the process. Following the move, requests have been handled swiftly - including phone requests made from abroad. I regret not dealing with Lakin & Co earlier than I did. Highly recommended company! Thank you all so much - they didn't have more than 5 stars which is what I would have loved to give you.

GoogleI purchased a flat from another local estate agent with a view to renting to increase my retirement pension. I met with the selling agent and Lakin & Co with a view to the rental market. Lakin knew the local market in Ruislip exceptionally well. They had lined up 15 viewings within the first couple of days. Lauren D was exceptionally helpful and it was probably due to her that I went with Lakin. Chris Lakin was extremely informative and helpful. Nothing was too much bother to explain, very important to a new landlord. They found me a very suitable tenant immediately. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Chris, Emma, Glenn, Michelle and everyone from property management team have been SUPER attentive. Any concerns and issues I have - they will resolve it straightaway. Professional, prompt and they add personal touch with their services. From the moment I moved in - and received a welcome box to the annual maintenance and checks, there are no words to describe how grateful I am for making this experience easy for me. Living alone is challenging and can be daunting at times but I feel very assured as a tenant that I am being looked after. GoogleI have recently rented a property through Lakin & Co and found them to go above and beyond their contract. They highlighted the need to renew the EPC and arranged this direct with no extra fees, they are the cheapest for rental in the area including VAT in all their percentages so no hidden costs and they contacted all service providers to instigate the change over on the day the new tenants took possession without the need for me to chase anything. A friendly, polite and super efficient company. Highly recommended.

GoogleIn May 2014 my husband and I arrived from the U.S. and needed a place to live. We found a house that was listed through Lakin & Co. The staff were were helpful and efficient and as result we were able to get into the property quickly. Now at the end of the lease, Robert ensured we were well-informed about the process and did a fantastic job following up on the details. Overall, a great experience.
