An estate agent from wye came round to value our flat and told us his valuation which I did not agree with but he said this is how the market is at the moment. I explained that our flat has been been completely renovated and had a lease extension but don’t think he was listening. Went to JNP and there valuation was spot on and we sold 5 days later minus 3000 from sale price. If we went with wye on his valuation we would have lost 32000. Maybe wye should do training and could help to have a better understanding of lease extensions. So be warned if you get a valuation from wye get a second value. Don’t think it was a case of buck the trend. It was just a mistake regarding a valuation

Having been to a couple of other letting agents and having a poor service from each one, you can imagine my thoughts at the beginning when Wye lettings came in the picture. Thank god for Wye Estate Agents. I originally put my flat for sale in Q4 of 2017 with a near buy national estate agent. They found me a "buyer". Several months went buy before they got a mortgage approved etc. Then on contract exchange day my buyer pulled out without the agent knowing. Total shambles.. I then put my Flat back on sale with Wye and within 3 weeks they found me a genuine buyer for full asking price. Wye's communications were outstanding and Ian R filled me with confidence and delivered everything he promised. There is no tie in contracts unlike other estate agents. I highly recommend them.

This review is somewhat overdue but I have been recommending Wye Residential and in particular Steve Harnett to everyone! He is highly experienced, down to earth, keeps communication flowing and there's no 'estate agent' speak! He writes the property's particulars in a straightforward honest manner which I really appreciated. He puts the human into estate agency! He's recently got several offers on a property that a friend was selling as part of her late father's estate. I'd instantly recommended Steve to her as she was stressed and grieving and I knew Steve would handle things in a professional, compassionate, honest manner and I was right. Even though I've moved out of the county I still tell anyone I know, who's selling, to contact Wye Residential because they stood out a mile from the several other agents I initially met with. I first purchased my first property from Wye Residential in High Wycombe back in 2013. When it came to selling up in 2018, I made no hesitation in going back to them as they had provided a good service. I was sceptical about online estate agents when first putting my property on the market, so decided to stick with an established local agent that I had used before. Due to anxieties around “Brexit” and other challenging market conditions, it took nearly 20 viewings to snap up a buyer. This was no fault of the Wye Residential Team however and they remained totally professional and committed to selling my property, always making suggestions and promoting my flat to potential leads that came into their offices. I never gave up on their expertise and remained loyal, not once thinking about going to another agent. My partner and I have been so impressed with the service we have received by Wye Residential. As first time buyers, we often felt clueless and unsure on certain processes but Tracy Anson was always on hand to offer support and advice for any query or concern we had. Excellent service. We initially instructed them months ago but had to go through the eviction process first. Rob was so helpful with his advice that we were able to carry it through without involving solicitors. The sale was complicated too as we had to separate the flat from the garage legally and, again, they gave us informal advice. Once the property was empty, they marketed it really well. They gave us a realistic valuation, they were honest with what prospective purchasers would expect and, following their advice, an offer was made really quickly. Once the offer had been accepted, Tracy kept us in the loop so that contracts could be exchanged. I would definitely recommend them and the team is approachable, friendly and manage expectations perfectly.
