GoogleExtremely disappointing management agency. Very poor communication with lease holders, false promises on work that needs carrying out and a patronising member of staff. Work that received funding in January 2018 still not done by January 2019. Not even had sight of any quotations for the work and no sign of anything happening anytime soon.

GoogleAwful. The worst. Not there when you need them. Had an emergency where got locked out of my flat on the weekend, told by their "emergency" line that could only be bothered to deal with it on Monday. Think about that when contemplating what agent you'd pick should another emergency arise.
Dear Mr Chen, Further to your Google review please note that the facts are as follows: 1. Our out of hours team returned your call on Sunday at 12:55 when you advised that “you had lost your front door fob whilst running”. We returned your telephone call within 4 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. 2. Due to the fact that our Management Department operate Monday to Friday we only deal with emergencies at our properties out of normal working hours, losing a key fob is not classed as this. Our employee also asked you that because you rent your flat, whether you have made contact with your Landlord and or Letting Agent, to which you replied “no”. You were advised in the meantime to do so to see if they held a spare fob. Whilst our employee continued to you assist you, they were under no obligation to as we have no direct contractual relationship with you. 3. Despite this we still offered to assist you to try and find a solution to get you into the building. The suggested solution was for one of our employees to access our office later on in the day and provide the key fob to a Courier who would deliver this to you. The cost of which you would have been payable by you. 4. Before our employee was due to call you back to advise you with the costs of the Courier etc at the agreed time, you had advised us by email that you had located your lost key fob. 5. We did not call you back due to this matter being resolved. We do not feel that this review is reasonable given the facts above and would ask you kindly to remove it. Reviews of this nature can be so damaging to a Company and especially when they do not reflect the events which took place. It is extremely disappointing that despite our good intention to assist you on a Sunday afternoon, when we did not need to, that you still felt it was necessary to write such a review. FacebookYou're forcing your maintenance workers to work during the quarantine in our building on work that's in no way essential, in ways that aren't safe for them or those of us who live here. You're putting lives at risk, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
Please note that Engel Jacobs do not employ any ‘maintenance workers’. Engel Jacobs solely work with independent contractors. We would under no circumstance ‘force’ any contractor to attend any property we manage and we do not have any jurisdiction to do so. Rather than voice your concerns on several media outlets and damage the integrity/reputation of our hard working team and business, especially considering the current climate, would it not be appropriate to contact us in private and initially allow us the opportunity to discuss such a matter? We would appreciate if you could contact us directly at info@engeljacobs.co.uk so that we can look into your concerns further, as according to our records you do not reside in any property we manage.
