I have had the best experience purchasing a property through BritishHomeSellers. Many estate agents in the past year took advantage of the hot market to cover their poor performance and client care. You would think that local Estate Agents will have better service due face to face interaction with clients, this was the complete opposite. BHS, despite being predominantly an online EA was outstanding right from the start to the very end, really reassuring even when the vendor was being complicated. Myself and my partner would like to thank Alex and Rihanna for all their hard work and doing their best to help us with many queries. You both are just great people and very good at what you do!

We purchased our property through British Home Sellers who were outstanding throughout. Charles went above and beyond to help with communication and coordination throughout the chain. I honestly believe if Charles wasn't involved, it may have not had a happy ending! He was always reachable even outside of work ours and Charles is an absolute asset to the business. We would definitely use British Home Sellers on our next move.

We recently purchased a property from British Homesellers. Although the process was quite long (this was nothing to do with BH themselves), they did everything they could do to keep things moving to complete before Christmas. Special thanks to Charles who responded to our calls/texts very promptly and would help chase the sellers and their solicitors throughout. Robert was also great at responding quickly to any query we had, as well as guiding us through the initial process.

Just went through a sale with British home sellers. The sellers picked them and i am so glad they did. Alex from BHS is amazing and so on it. I got loads of updates from him and he even just called every now and then to check in. It was so nice to know he was always there and had all the information, if he didn’t he would find out and get back to me ASAP. I really couldn’t recommend them any higher. I will definitely be using them when it’s my time to sell. Just amazing, I can’t say it enough.

We purchased a house from someone who used British Home Sellers and we were sceptical as they were based so far away rather than using a local estate agents. However, we honestly couldn’t recommend them more. Our main contact was Robert and even when he wasn’t available or on annual leave, we had other contact details who were just as helpful. Nothing was ever lost in emails, someone was always there to pick up the phone and they proved to be the most useful contact in the entire process.We had quite a few issues with our process due to hidden information from our seller but we felt as if Robert was always happy to help and needed no prompts to chase anything from anyone.We would definitely use BHS again should we need someone in the future, even to the point where we were reluctant to pay our own estate agents as BHS were so much better!Special thanks again to Robert and team, you are amazing!

My experience with British Homesellers was horrendous. I could write a lot more but will summarise the biggest issues as follows:1) They said they were different from estate agents as they had a big panel of investors/corporate buyers. This is untrue. They are (shoddy) online estate agents.2) They promised to get more for my property because of the panel of investors. They guaranteed a minimum price they'd achieve. This was also untrue. My property sold for less than valued.3) They lured me away from a very good agent then copied all the information & the floor plan which had been produced by my previous agent. I asked British Homesellers to make a change to the floorplan and they couldn't because they didn't create it.4) They took photos which were terrible and truncated all the rooms & garden making them look half their size. Their photographer, a freelancer, stomped through my house with his shoes on depositing mud everywhere.5) They don't do viewings. These have to be carried out by the vendor. Basically you have to sell your own house.6) They make no provision for handover of keys on moving day. The conveyancers aren't permitted to hold keys so I had to speak directly with my buyer and arrange to meet her to hand over keys.7) The buyer of my property had already been in contact with my previous agent about my property. She saw it again on Rightmove once British Homesellers had taken it on and reduced the price.8) Once an offer had been accepted on my property I heard NOTHING from British Homesellers for the next 5 months. I contacted them a few weeks before moving to ask about handover of keys and they said they don't make any provision for keys. I then had a phone call from them on moving day at about 10am asking if I'd made arrangements to hand over keys. This was whilst the house was in chaos with removal people and I was frantically directing them on what was going and staying in the property.9) A few weeks after moving day I had a call from British Homesellers asking about my experience. I told them it had been horrendous, gave them details & said I'd never use them again. I was told they'd investigate and come back to me. As at today, more than a year later, they've not called back.In summary, this company doesn't deliver what they promise and a lot of their sales chat is misleading and inaccurate. They charge the same as a regular estate agent but only do a fraction of the work. I would have given them zero stars if it was an option.Avoid, avoid, avoid. Go and get yourself a proper estate agent.

I’d never heard of the company British Homesellers and was a little a little sceptical when I approached them as the property I wanted was approximately 250 miles from where they were based I contacted a guy called Alex Clendon,who I explained too time was important , I basically wanted the property ASAP and that was it The initial paperwork arrived within 2 hours and the process began I had no problems whatsoever, That was 30/3/21 ....on 1/6/21 ....I received the keys !!!8 weeks ,signed sealed and delivered....excellent

We highly recommend anyone buying and selling to use British home conveyancing. Charles Gale was incredibly generous with his time and helpful when an already complicated house purchase was delayed by the conveyancer's technology problems at the last minute. He also mediated between us and the seller when progress had stalled due to mortgage lender's requirements.Could not have stayed afloat without him, contact was always prompt and friendly.

Charles Gale from British home sellers was fantastic, from start to completion. As first time buyers with no chain we thought the process would’ve been very quick, however, due to complications with solicitors it took 6 months! However, Charles always provided us with regular updates and chased the solicitors immediately for us. Whether it was a call, message or email Charles was there to always offer help and guidance, we could not fault him. Overall, we would like to say a massive thank you for all your hard work Charles!

I had a bad experience with British home sellers. Initially I had a local agent selling my place for a month and had steady viewings. I had a leaflet put through my door from British home sellers informing me that they wished to sell my house, they told me that my valuation and the previous local agents valuation was good and that my property would be sold in 3months at the latest. Being slightly naive I gave them sole selling rights for my property and took it away from the local agent. They told me that a professional photographer would come take pictures of my place which they never did, instead using very old and dated pictures, in fact I never met a single representative from the company in the 6 months, my viewings dropped to zero, I’m not lying, I had zero viewings in 6 months. I would get a text message every two weeks telling me how many times sombody brushed passed my house on the website and to stick by them as they worked on trying to sell my place. After 6 months of this nonsense and waiting to get out of the clause to let some serious people sell my house I am finally on the road to selling my place again. What a nightmare and what a waste of 6 months. Stay away from these guys, they will lead you on

Charles from British homesellers was so helpful. Buying our house was extremely stressful due to lots of complications but Charles was always there with updates for us and would chase the solicitors immediately for us. He was very helpful at explaining things we didn’t understand and if we couldn’t get hold of him he would always text us to let us know he would get back to us. Overall he was more helpful than our solicitors and most of the time was answering questions that should’ve been for them but we could never get hold of them! Thank you for all your hard work!!

We used British Homesellers to purchase our new property and I can't recommend them enough. We dealt with Alex first when we put in the offer, this was not straight forward as we had viewed the property through another agent, but Alex checked came back to us and we were able to move ahead and negotiate a price. Once accepted we dealt with Charles who helped through the completion stage, came back promptly to any questions we had for the sellers or about the process. All in all an excellent service from both Alex and Charles. I particularly liked the fact that we were not passed around different people, we had 2 contacts, one for each stage of the process. As a buyer of a property I found British Home Sellers the most helpful people in the whole process, Especially Charles Gale who is an absolute asset to the company, without his help I don't think the process would have gone as smoothly as it did, and I wouldn't have completed before Christmas which was what I so desperately wanter to happen, he was at the end of the phone if I ever needed anything e.g. chasing the sellers solicitors, his communication and helpfulness was second to none and he was more helpful than my own solicitor. Thanks to Charles I was settled before Christmas which I spent with my close family which was utterly priceless. I can't thank him enough.

British Homesellers was a new name for us but the service and care have been astounding and considering the six-month journey we had to sell and move from our one-bedroom flat, it was more than welcome.Robert Love was the first person to contact us with a clear request for information that would allow us to proceed. Accompanying this was a helpful chart of the key moments in the conveyancing process. Very useful as well as links for insurance and removal services. Once the offer was accepted, a memorandum of sale was issued and we had our case taken on by Charles Gale who was a superb person to deal with. Always responding to queries in a helpful, polite, timely manner and starts the day early! This opening introduction to their team showed to me how clearly they have thought about the client's journey through the process. It was professional and considerate, we always knew where we were and what was expected.Having a few ups and downs towards the end, we were thankful that we had a steady and supportive team helping us find our way.
