I just wanted to send a short note to provide some great feedback. We were overseas buyers relocating from the USA to UK so our situation was more complex than most UK purchasers - in addition our start to finish transaction time was also very fast. The Sales Consultant provided an amazing service for us from the first time we looked around the development to the final close. She was always extremely professional, super responsive and dealt with our concerns and queries thoroughly. Examples include:Taking additional pictures where we needed themProviding updates on progress across all dimensions on the transactionSending pictures of the carpets and flooring so we could make those choices remotelyFielding my calls at all times (inc. weekends) so I could provide detailed updates that she could relay back to head officeSending pictures on the final stages so we could enjoy those from the USAQuite simply the service we received was outstanding and I wanted to make sure that is recorded. Overall I have been delighted with the experience we have had with Croudace and a large element of that is due to our experience working with our Sales Consultant.

First time using Croudace Homes to buy an apartment.Process couldn’t have been eaiser, to begin with. However, constant push backs on completion date, received a contract that said jan 8th 2024. Ultimately exchanged contracts based on that date only to be told March 29th for the true completion date. Sales team are unable to give accurate or reliable information past the point of getting you to sign the dotted line. Property clearly hasn’t sold enough for them to maintain a smooth completion date, 50% sold so whacked completion from 8th Jan to 29th March.Head office also have the disappointing opinion that £1000 towards your NEXT purchase is a suitable reward for anyone that’s not even purchased their first property with them. 1k doesn’t touch the sides of legal fees or stamp duty these days so what a useless gesture.Build quality remains to be seen but last visit I did to site, there was metal sticking out the already plastered and painted walls, sadly not high hopes for a quality finish right away.

What an amazing team at Blakemore Manor, Hertford. We are renting one of there new homes and Nikki has just been amazing helping explaining anything we didn’t understand. We tried to buy one of these beautiful homes but we couldn’t make it work for now with the mortgage. Back when we was looking Nikki spent a lot of time the us, taking about each home, what the process is and she even took us to view some that we in a good build stage for us to view. She really knows her stuff Even though we rented here our new home is amazing, quality of finish, the products that are used even to the smallest detail. I also found reading through Trustpilot and gave me courage to come and live at the Hertford development. The other reviews from other sites are helpful to. Croudace’s you have employed very professional staff. If they are all like Nikki you are doing something right. The site team have also been on hand if needed through the customer service team who are also very friendly and approachable.

I purchased a property from Croudace Homes in 2014 and was impressed at the time with the service and attention that I received. Minor snagging matters were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Recently a potential problem was identified within the Common Land area of our small group of houses. We had suffered no inconvenience and even though nearly a decade had passed Croudace, after a thorough investigation, took on board the issue and remedied it at no cost to ourselves. Based on personal experience, I would highly recommend Croudace to any potential home buyer.

Very cheap building materials.Having lived and owned several different new builds in the UK and abroad, I never seen such poor quality.We purchased in Hertford, Blakemore Manor, and it’s very disappointing to see the quality of all the materials used, from the floorboards to the doors, and probably the worse thing are the windows that although are double glazed, they don’t stop any sound coming in.We hear from neighbours that they have non stop leaks (which thankfully we still haven’t had this issue) and many of the same issues we have.Their excuse is that it is normal and things will settle but it’s only getting worse.I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Really poor quality.UPDATE: on the very same day I wrote this review and said that unlike our neighbours we hadn’t had a water leek, we now suddenly had one - call it Murphy’s Law…On the positive side, the staff that is in charge of fixing the many issues that the poor materials will cause, they are actually good, unfortunately I fear what will happens after the two years warranty expires…

We bought a Croudace Homes 2 years ago and could not be happier. After having a bad experience with a previous new build this has been a breath of fresh air. The quality of the build has been very good and the snags that we have picked up during the warranty period were promptly resolved with no fuss. Would happily recommend.

Croudace have refused to deal with our waterlogged garden. There have been numerous on the estate due to the clay sub soil and poor drainage. They are aware of these issues having addressed them for some, but refuse to put in proper drainage for us which leaves us facing a bill of several thousand we did not budget for.During the conveyancing process they did not disclose that we have public sewers and drainage underneath our home before we purchased it which might need to be dug up in future. This information is meant to be disclosed, so it was no surprise that they refused to give out the drainage plans when asked.We were also given incorrect information on work being signed off after I requested a change. I later found this to be untrue and had confirmation of it. After much back and forth they did however rectify this matter.The 'making good' has been very patchy. We have had to redo parts ourselves. We are also finding as time goes by there have been short cuts made with fittings, missing screws, no plugs used, bannister hanging loose etcThe materials used in the bathroom are poor quality, the sink metal started turning black within weeks and the toilet green. I did raise my concerns about this but had no response.It's incredibly disheartening when you pay out such a large sum of money and still have to pay out £1000s to address drainage that should have been addressed, or when your home really isn't as it should be.Unless you really want a particular home in a particular spot and are prepared to deal with potential disappointment or unexpected expense, I wouldn't bother.

This week marks our one year anniversary of moving into our new Croudace house and we couldn’t be more pleased with it.The Croudace sales team at Maidstone (the Hermitage Park development) helped make the whole buying experience so easy and guided us through every step of the process.I didn’t want to post a premature review of our experience so I thought I’d wait a while in case any issues arose but I am happy to saythat we can’t fault the house or the Croudace team after a year since moving in. We would definitely recommend Croudace Homes to anyone thinkingof buying a new build house.

They are great until you have bought your home, then they do not agree to fix anything without a massive amount of complaints. I have had enough after several leaks and mould, and building over the damp layer I am completing a complaint with the NHBC. Avoid at all costs unless you want a headache for the next 10 years

IF YOU WANT ELECTRIC SHOCKS IN YOUR BRAND NEW HOUSE GO AHEAD.Brought my new house, received an electric shock form shoddy workmanship. Had my house re-tested and have nearly £1200 of works to make my house up to standard, they have said that they didn’t miss anything in the testing or sign off procedure. As a gesture if goodwill they are offering £1000 to fix the electrical issues that their sub-contractors couldn’t do properly.Customer service is horrendous after they have your money, the “directors” I have been in touch with are so far out of their depth from reality with trying to solve problems it’s laughable.

We have just moved in to a Croudace Home in Surrey. This has been a fantastic experience overall. Firstly, the sales experience was excellent. Marnie and Gaye in the Sales Suite, who looked after us, were thorough, professional and attentive. It was good to deal with a small building company, it felt like a much more personal service. We have had dealings with larger builders and the experience was nowhere near as good. We had a few teething problems with our conveyancing, as we were one of the first to complete on the development, but these were sorted out effectively - our dealings with Claire the Sales Director and Wendy also in the Sales Team, were also very efficient and professional. The quality of the build is very good - and stylish. As we were the first to complete, we were able to make choices such as kitchen cabinet colour, flooring colour etc etc. Now we are living on the development, nothing is too much trouble to resolve - there are two dedicated men on site sorting out snagging issues, they have a smiley face and 'can do' attitude and the two site managers listen and take on board our queries and respond accordingly, quickly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in recommending this builder and I sincerely hope they go from strength to strength, as they deserve to do.

Before moving in we were told that there would be a gate access from the estate into Panshanger park. The date for putting the gate in had passed and I enquired again. Gate access was eventually provided but the access was such that buggies and wheelchairs were not able to use as entry space was too small. I mentioned this to the estate office but nothing has been done about it. I had previously raised an issue regarding buggies and wheelchairs getting across Thieves Lane. Only steps had been provided down to the road. Using the steps down to the road was both difficult and dangerous. A ramp was eventually (i.e. after some time) provided. Parents with buggies and disabled wheelchair users do not seem to have been given enough consideration.

The Croudace Team at Willowbrook Park in Didcot have been excellent from start to finish. We have been fully engaged and kept up to date during the build process and with multiple site visits throughout its stages and up to completion. We have been in our house for 1 week now and we are very impressed with the house and the after service of the teams. We had a few issues (as with any new build) but the team on site resolved them very quickly and at no hassle. The finish on the house is much better than some other developers we looked at before we decided with our property and the end result has been great.We are very pleased overall and I would recommend Croudace to others due to their extra care and service support.Charlotte from the sales team has been exceptional and always happy and responsive to a mountain of emails and questions.Very positive experience and we look forward to enjoying our new home.

6 years on from moving into our new home, we’re still stuck with HML, the management company appointed by Croudace Homes. HML are possibly one of the worst companies we have ever had to deal with, and Croudace are turning a blind eye to their profiteering through exorbitant service charge fees. Despite having moved in 6 years ago, we aren’t able to remove them because the Croudace is still controlling the management company (apparently the council haven’t got round to adopting some of the roads yet). HML have demonstrated that they aren’t able to conduct basic maintenance (despite paying their suppliers for it), can’t do basic maths or provide an explanation of how they’ve come to the charges they have for our property. On asking for a breakdown of our charge for a 6-month period, we were threatened (repeatedly) with bailiffs and further ‘recovery’ charges, despite having it in writing that all recovery action had been paused whilst they figured out how to send us a very basic calculation that they had supposedly already completed…to top it all off, their ‘customer services’ responded to a complaint by gaslighting me into submission. Croudace have been told all of this, but are actively turning a blind eye - so much for being a 5* rated house builder, once they’ve got your money they don’t give a monkeys…
