Management Company Hell

6 years on from moving into our new home, we’re still stuck with HML, the management company appointed by Croudace Homes. HML are possibly one of the worst companies we have ever had to deal with, and Croudace are turning a blind eye to their profiteering through exorbitant service charge fees. Despite having moved in 6 years ago, we aren’t able to remove them because the Croudace is still controlling the management company (apparently the council haven’t got round to adopting some of the roads yet). HML have demonstrated that they aren’t able to conduct basic maintenance (despite paying their suppliers for it), can’t do basic maths or provide an explanation of how they’ve come to the charges they have for our property. On asking for a breakdown of our charge for a 6-month period, we were threatened (repeatedly) with bailiffs and further ‘recovery’ charges, despite having it in writing that all recovery action had been paused whilst they figured out how to send us a very basic calculation that they had supposedly already completed…to top it all off, their ‘customer services’ responded to a complaint by gaslighting me into submission. Croudace have been told all of this, but are actively turning a blind eye - so much for being a 5* rated house builder, once they’ve got your money they don’t give a monkeys…

Croudace have been brilliant!

Croudace have been brilliant during the purchase of our first house. The sales consultants were both lovely and very helpful. They were always at the end of the phone whenever we had any questions. They made the process very stress free and kept us informed along the whole process. The site manager is brilliant too, hes very informative and happy to help us if we need anything. We really couldn't fault croudace at all and would recommend them 100%.

We are very pleased with our Croudace home at Willowbrook Park, Didcot. This is the second home we have purchased through Croudace and have been pleased with the service and standard that both our houses have been completed too. Customer care have been very quick to pick up any snag issues we have reported to them and have always been polite and friendly. We have just purchased a new home on the Silk Row development in Braintree. The whole experience with Croudace has been fantastic from start to finish and we highly recommend them to anyone buying a new home. Tony, the site manager, has been particularly helpful and has gone above and beyond to make sure our home is perfect. He has dealt with any minor issues in a timely way and his customer service is outstanding. Third Croudace property purchase

Croudace have kept us fully informed of the sales process from first viewing through to completion. Special mention to the sales staff in this connection. Since moving in 4 months ago there have only been a couple of minor issues with property which were speedily resolved . The site manager has been particularly helpful and friendly in this regard. This approach has also been evident amongst many of the on site workforce. In summary we are very pleased with the property and would be happy to recommend Croudace to prospective purchasers.

House Bought On Silk Row Estate, Braintree.

We purchased a house by Croudace Homes earlier this year on Silk Row estate after being recommended by both of my Sisters who also own homes built by Croudace. Once we had purchased the house we paid for a professional Snagger who did pick up several pages of cosmetic snags, thankfully nothing major. When we first moved in there were a few teething problems but I can honestly say the service we have personally received since bringing these issues to Tony (Site Manager) & Ryan (Site Manager) has been super efficient and professional in making sure these snags were completed ASAP by the team. A huge thank you must also go to Steve from the Customer Care Team who helped complete majority of our snagging list. Tony, Ryan & Steve are an absolute credit to Croudace Homes and have made the process of moving into our first home a lot smoother than some of the horror stories I have read online. Overall, we are exceptionally pleased with our new home.

Brilliant sales team, undivided attention, great product knowledge, exceptional service.We recently moved into our CROUDACE home at Hermitage Park Maidstone and are on cloud 9. The home is beautiful, the whole team from start to finish have been amazing. We experienced a few delays due to unforeseen circumstances but was always updated with an full explanation. We appreciate that this could happen when buying a new build but the wait was well worth it. Thank you girls in the sales office for looking after us and thank you to the build team for meeting us to explain causes for delays so we had a better understanding. The Hertford staff are a credit to Croudace Homes

Two things - 1) The staff at the Hertford, Blakemore Manor development were all professional and have offered us a a 5 star level of service even after moving in.They were all a credit to Croudace. Dealing with Nikki Chaston & Sarah Holmes in particular made the experience of buying a new home from Croudace a particularly good experience 2) The build quality and thus the small snagging list made the early months easier to deal with. Shrina Patel & Dean who dealt with us from the after-sales team have resolved everything in a friendly & professional way.Having experience of buying new build, the Hertford Croudace staff came out as the best to deal with compared to any of the other previous developers
