Was harassed throughout the tenancy with inspections every few weeks. The end of tenancy charges were so high for made up items that I hired a law firm. They got an out of court settlement as the contract paperwork hadn't been completed correctly. Not good for landlord or tenant.
I am sorry to read this review. I have invited you to share more information, although I am yet to hear from you. I would like to look into this situation for you. Please could you confirm which office you dealt with as I would like to confirm where you rented as I cannot locate you as a client. We have standard quarterly checks so uncertain why there would have been any need for further checks beyond this and an independent inventory clerk on check out. We are also members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme which is the route we would take with any tenant unhappy with the result of the check out inventory. GoogleHorrendous letting service; do not use. They ignore client emails, charge renewal fees without conducting standard tenant checks. Have to be prompted to carry out property inspections. Baffled they can’t get the basics right.

As discussed separately, we acknowledge that response times have not been at the standard we aim to deliver and are working hard to ensure this is an exceptional circumstance that will not be repeated. I trust our separate response alleviates your concerns around the renewal process - it is not in our terms or standard process to re-reference existing tenants where there have not been any issues with payment of rent, however in this case as requested, we have agreed to do so for you. We have also confirmed that the last inspection was carried out in October and the next is due on 7th March. I will be happy to discuss any further concerns you may have offline, and am pleased that we have been able to communicate over the last few hours to agree a sensible conclusion. Best wishes, James

TrustpilotThe reason people don’t like Estate Agents...
After finding a new build property, we needed to sell our property to secure it. Then lockdown happened, however, a buyer out of the blue wanted to purchase our property. We accepted, however, Erling after being told to be honest to our buyer, told them we would be out in 2 weeks after exchange. After creating tension between us and our buyer, he moved her in to rent 3 doors down! He asked us to also pay her rent of 1300k a month, a ridiculous request in which he thought was acceptable. He also showed people through our windows when he knew we were out. We spoke to Mr Penny who simply said we were telling a different story to Erling. We are now homeless waiting for our house to be built. I would not recommend Penny & Sinclair to anyone.
