What made the experience great was dealing with Casey whom I always found to be both professional and personable. I actually felt more confident dealing with her, because I knew I would have any issues resolved or queries answered. The main issue was trying to access my partners part of the tenancy agreement, in order to sign the agreement, but we got there eventually.

Helpful and professional service for a first time landlord

I'm a new landlord and found all the staff very helpful and approachable with my queries. The service was recommended by a good friend who is very complimentary about the services provided by lettingaproperty.com, which was an encouraging introduction.The lettings consultant was most helpful and supportive when there were few enquiries for my original advert. Follow-up phone calls at this point were most reassuring.The do-it-yourself nature of the website (uploading marketing details/arranging viewings/creating a tenancy agreement) are not difficult, but do require a certain degree of computer skills. The staff on the phone were very helpful however, and offered to help with uploading photos if required. It’s good to work with a company nowadays that is actually efficient.

Highly recommended, great value property letting platform

I have found Letting a Property a very effective platform for letting out my flat. The staff are very friendly and ultimately helpful with moving things forward, with timely responses. The value compared to high-street agents stands out as a huge benefit, which at first made me cautious. Reviews convinced me to proceed with LaP and I’ve not been disappointed. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the online platform. On the face of it the functionality is very good and it’s clear to use. I also like the tracking that shows the stage of your let, money to be received, etc. However, there does seem to be frequent glitches or small issues that prevent me from completing an action, like uploading a document. The support team are always quick to help resolve this and usually take the action themselves, but if the website was more consistent, I’d have given 5 stars.

One private property: I have let one property privately for…

I have let one property privately for over fifteen years, managing it myself without an agent. Although it has mostly been straightforward I have found the process of finding a new tenant rather stressful and the only time I used a local agent, it resulted in a nightmare tenant who eventually I had to take to court - and who still owes me £2,000. When I discovered Lettingaproperty.com, this process changed positively and the two transfers of tenancy have been so well organised and prompt, that each has been very successful.
