GoogleWe have used all services provided by Connells when buying an investment property, the sales team were on hand for any questions we had and kept us up to date with delays that were out of their control. We were unsure to use Jack the mortgage consultant as we had our own broker but he was able to save us money on the mortgage and glad we used him. Once we bought the property and refurbished we then used the lettings team who was able to find us a tenant to move in by the end of the month! GoogleDo not bother. These are by the far the worst estate agent we have dealt with. Zero communication from them, zero viewings, we had to chase them for communication. They put up terrible pictures. Even though we put up a new 6ft fence (which they took a pictures of), they decided the pictures with a broken fallen down fence was the better one to put up. It felt like we had only been signed up purely so they could say they had x amount of properties, but had no intention of making any effort what so ever of selling our property. Regardless of what the market is doing, you at least expect an estate agent to keep you updated and informed. Avoid!!!

GooglePlease save yourself some trouble and DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT LET FROM THIS AGENGY!!!!!!!!! Connell hemel Hempstead lettings department only care about getting your money and have no problems lying to your face! My experience with them has just been horrible. After viewing I requested for the sofa and bed to be removed as they weren't in the best of condition and wanted the property painted. The letting manager Zoe promised to do all these and chased me to get payment made only for me to move in and none of my request were met. Oh and she lied to my face that I didn't request all of these. I learnt in my one year dealing with them to just get on with it as they'll never do anything about your requests. They are so unprofessional, got no integrity and all you'll always get is "we'll speak to the landlord and get back to you" only they never do. You have to chase them for everything. It's just pathetic. They dont deserve a star from me. Now I've started another journey of headache with regards to getting my deposit back as I'm meant to pay for the landlord to paint the property he never painted when I moved in. I'm sooo disgusted with connells, they're just money hungry. You as a client mean nothing to them!

GoogleThis letting agency is the worst I ever had to deal with. Let me a flat AT THE WRONG ADDRESS, never answered my mails, told me "We'll get back to you tomorrow morning" in more than a dozen subsequent calls and obviously *never* recontacted me. Getting my deposit back was a real challenge. If you're an owner, avoid at all cost. If you're looking to rent and they put their parasitics appendices over your dream flat, better hope you get no surprise you never have to interact with them.

GoogleMade a complaint about letting staff at Hemel Hempstead reply I got from Connell head office totally missed the point I was trying to make and said staff would be retrained on their customer service skills but that wasn't the only thing I was complaining about lady who was head of lettings sitting on my property for 10 days showed it to one person knew in advance the property was becoming vacant went to an agent 100 yards down the road my property was let within 10 hours i've been a landlord for 20 years never Come across an unprofessional lettings manager

Then he couldn't phone me back quickly enough. They kept pushing me to stick with the same buyer despite it being clear that he could not raise the money. They claim to have contacted other people but I don't believe it for a second. In the end I fired them and for my reward I got spiteful emails. NEVER USE!

GoogleAwful lettings team - asked for information on at least five properties, received it 4 days later, no phone call asking if we would like to view. No wonder there's so many people complaining that their properties aren't being let/bought. They don't even contact people that are interested in them, WE have to phone constantly. Don't you get commission for this? I'd have thought you'd be on top of people willing to make your job easier for you............

GoogleTerrible agency and maintenance service. We paid for inventory which says house was unclean/dusty/chipped, reported number of issues as maintenance tickets. None of them were fixed throughout the year and when we had to leave, we were forced to pay cleaning cost, repair cost for fixes we raised months and months ago. All email conversation, tickets raised, documents were waste. All they could suggest is to pay extra and go to dispute court.

GoogleThe worst agency in my entire life!Most irresponsible and non cooperative bunch of people.My experience is in lettings and their so called property management. Terrible experience and will never ever recommend them again. They don't deserve even 1 star. They dont pick calls nor call back. They never respond to mails and most importantly they lie snatch your money and when its time to return they never do it !
