We were so lucky to have Connells as our Estate Agent for the last 5 years! I cannot recommend them enough for all their great work in communicating things between us and the landlord, working diligently to fix repairs, etc. Zoe Wannerton was our main POC from the very beginning until the very end and Petra Razoare joined at a later stage, both being absolutely great, understanding and accommodating with every request we had. There are lots of Estate Agents in the market, but I'm pleased that I chose one of the best with a great team to work with. My house went on the market with Connells as they are a well established agent with the ability to promote a property across a regional area, not just in Hemel. Really poor customer service and staff are very rude and will not take accountability for their mistakes . I Booked a viewing with Connells Hemel Hempstead over the phone and gave a date and time for my availability and added the viewing to my diary. I turned up on the day, I’d driven all the way from Surrey to be told my viewing wasn’t booked in. If my booking wasn’t booked in as discussed over the phone I expect to have received a phone call to advise that the requested time slot was not available but I heard nothing at all from Connells so I was under the impression the time we discussed was booked in. I had a conversation with the Lee one of the agent on the phone to explain the situation . Lees response was rude and lacked compassion or willingness to accept responsibility .I made my way to Hemel Hempstead from Surrey and wasted my time.This is not the first time I’ve been disappointed by the estate agents customer service . Communication needs to be better !

As first time buyers in the middle of a chaotic property market, buying a house was very stressful. Connells' Denis Logan however was excellent, providing advice and guidance where we needed it. He was also quick and informative in communications with the sellers, regularly updating us and chasing where needed. We completed the process from first viewing to collecting the keys within 3.5 months too, which was great to get in in time for summer. From the first viewing to the moment of completion, Tim, Luke and Carl always kept me updated.
