GoogleWe recently sold our house through Gascoine Halman in Heaton Moor, after an unsatisfactory experience with another local Agent. Adam, Kim and Sharon dealt with us professionally, considerately, and very effectively throughout the sale process to give us the success we were desperate for. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was brilliant. We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending that they should be the Agent of choice in Heaton Moor. Thank you team!

I cannot fault the excellent customer service received from Adam and the team at Heaton Moor branch. The sale of my property was marketed to a high standard in a friendly, helpful and professional manner, and achieved a quick sale.Although my purchase of another property did not go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances I would have no hesitation in recommending Gascoine Halman in any future property transactions.

Frances Mason used our family to pump up other offers for the seller. She confirmed after a long and arduous process we'd had our offer accepted. She then encouraged the vendor and buyers carry on viewings in our opinion to gazump us. She knowing didn't send out a memorandum of sale to us for 5 days whilst getting other parties to outbid us. After we paid for searches etc Frances informed us someone had come in with another bid.......from there played us off as an auction for bidding. Then told us we didn't get the house. The next day it was put as STC for the other buyer. Something she refused to do for us in 5 days. She openly admitted on the phone she knew of another bid hence when she didn't do the memorandum of sale.She let us pay for searches while using us a pawn. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of company. There was no remorse and I don't know how she sleeps at night for a little but extra of commission.Openly trying to get improved offers and more viewing whilst sending us acceptance confirmation and letting us pay fees is a very very underhanded trick.

GoogleFantastic service, really prompt when dealing with solicitors. Communication is excellent, I was kept aware of every step of the process. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff or manager. All the staff are friendly and approachable, the whole transaction was very professional. I would highly recommend them.

GoogleWe used Gascoigne Halman to sell our house. From beginning to end they were fantastic. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they sold our property quickly and kept us up to speed throughout the entire process. I would recommend them to anyone. Adam/Sharon and George are all fantastic.

What went wrong? Well I was advised by this agency that the property had come off the market once my holding deposit was paid. Upon submitting my credentials for referencing which was with let alliance, I was advised by "Charlotte" a representative at Gascoigne Halman that the landlord has gone with another offer and would rather refund my holding deposit then proceed with my application. Honestly Disappointed with the service provided by this agency. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING WITH THIS AGENCY

Along the journey we also dealt with Charlotte and Bev. 3 fantastic ladies, very attentive, knowledgable and more than competent in their roles. The service delivered exceeded expectations and there was a consistent personal touch all through the process. We haven’t had to chase them for a thing they have been so proactive and so, so helpful. GoogleFantastic service from start to finish. Alison has been amazing and made renting our new house a doddle. Sat down with us and helped us work out what we were looking for. Then when we wanted a property she got on the phone and secured it with the landlord for us immediately. She's then been there when we've rung with questions every step of the way - always very friendly and helpful. The final thing was a mistake made on the website as to what the property had in it - I called up and it was sorted to a perfectly satisfactory solution within hours without any pushing or pestering at all. Could not fault these guys and if we ever move (not that i want to!!) i have no doubt i would look specifically for property with these guys. Thanks so much :)

GoogleHad a viewing booked in with them, nobody called to inform us the house had been sold. We turned up and homeowner was shocked to see us outside as it was no longer on the market. Called gascoigne halman to seek an explanation and no answer, left a message and no answer. We also emailed in to raise this as an issue and have been ignored again. Incredibly shocking customer service, will not be dealing with them again.

They gave great advice, helped chase things that needed chasing and helped us navigate through any tricky situations. They were responsive and made everything as smooth as it could have been. They only "fixed" the issue after we had let them know we had moved out because they had to take marketing photos and do viewings. Then, at the end of the tenancy, they tried to charge us for damages their contractor had done after we had left the property. They fail to get back to you unless you give them a deadline, they have ignored requests for mandatory documentation such as deposit certificates and prescribed information, they have failed to give tenants notice on multiple occasions and finally they have broken GDPR regulations as well. The staff were friendly when speaking to them, but sadly I cannot give the company a higher review due to our experience.

Very good when dealing with renting out a property. Great, fast communications, friendly service. However, managing the property is below par. I have to chase up things and still waiting for a contractor re heating in the freezing temperatures.

We were delighted with Gascoigne Halman’s service, when buying a property through them. They always went over and above. In fact I think our purchase might have fallen through but they kept it all on the rails. We will sell our house with them if we ever move. Dominic is fantastic. He always knew everything about the chain, and did loads to keep it all moving forward.

Very disappointed with customer service. Found the staff to be really unhelpful. As a cash buyer had been keen to purchase a property for my daughter and disappointed to learn the property we had secured was taken off the market. Tried to found out why and if there were any other similar properties available through the branch and got absoutley no help from them. Sent a polite message to the manager with honest feedback and requested that he give me a quick call to discuss - 2 weeks later and havent heard back from him. Will now never use Gasgoigne Halman again and recomend other agents who have a little more time and respect for their customers

GoogleSold my home through Gascoigne Halman after moving from a competitor who were not doing a great job. Adam, Anna and Jake were fantastic from start to finish. They were honest in their opinions and very straight forward to deal with. Highly recommended and will use again if we decide to move on once more. Thanks again.
