GoogleInitial thoughts: It's my first time renting, but they've made it easy! They've been quick to respond and very helpful. Later thoughts: We ended up having some issues and unreasonable negotiations with the landlord though before renting. A lot of it was not their fault but the communication could have been much better. During the tenancy some things in the house were fixed quickly, other issues were never dealt with.

GoogleWe bought our house through ScottFraser in 2011 ( very helpful agent Adrian Wright) and it was a very good experience. We therefore went back to them when we moved overseas to rent our house. It’s been a very good experience since 2015, and we have had the house checked and kept up to standard. The experience has been relatively smooth inspite of having a slightly problematic tenant (who still owes us money), Scottfraser’s team have been great with us through all the ups and downs. They helped us negotiate a very circuitous legal route to evict the tenant. Generally, the property has been quickly marketed and rented out. ( Paige McCaine, found us a tenant before the last one moved out). Our house is also managed by Scottfraser and we have had Jacqueline Gurden look after it for a few years now, everything sorted easily through just a phone call or an email. Scottfraser takes off the worry of a non resident landlord, and we are reassured that our house is in good hands when we come back and live there.

From the start of our house-hunt, initially meeting with Elaine, right through to exchange of contracts they were attentive and efficient. Simon has worked over and above what one would expect and has always dealt with everything with great patience, professionalism and charm. Despite the complexity of the transaction Simon's expertise made the process straightforward for us, and we would not hesitate to use Scott Fraser again.
