GoogleA few months ago, I was looking to get my flat revalued and Mark Prior arrived to do it. Mark was very friendly and professional throughout. Mark then sat down and we spoke about the valuation and the reasons I was looking to sell etc, the reason was I couldn’t afford my remortgage.
Mark spoke to me on a human level and not as an estate agent trying to make a sale. Mark listened and understood my situation. Mark was able to put me in touch with a very professional and helpful mortgage advisor who gave me options I wasn’t aware of.
Fast forward 4 months and I now have the flat remortgaged and in my name. Without Mark, this wouldn’t have been possible and I probably would have had to sell reluctantly.
Mark was extremely helpful throughout and was straight talking with what could be done. I would recommend Mark as an estate agent to anyone who needed one and one day, when I decide to sell, I will definitely be getting in touch with him again. He is a top man and an asset to JNP. Thanks Mark!

GoogleThis should be counted as an upper 5 star review. Within the chain, there was a combination of anxious people with crazy demands and people who could only act at a slow pace. Despite this all being covered by multiple agents, Alex in particular had the local knowledge and connections to keep the entire chain on course. I can say that without him, the whole thing would likely have fallen through and he worked really hard to keep this all going through to completion. Alex is a good example of why you need a great estate agent - would wholeheartedly recommend!

GoogleOriginally I wasn't informed about the money laundering check and whats involved. JNP have now called to explain the reasons, i have done a little investigation into this. Charges are usually between £30.00 and £80 being the top. My daughter who is selling has been charged the bottom price.

As Mark Prior, our Assistant Branch Manager, has since explained, identity and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks are a legal requirement. Every JNP client must complete an independent check through LifeTimeLegal (LTL), our accredited compliance partner, as part of our legal and regulatory obligations. The fee is for the independent verification service provided by LTL and is separate from our estate agency fees. While we appreciate you may have found alternative services at a lower cost, our compliance checks must be completed through our designated process and the cost is the same for all our clients.

They pumped up the price when there was no other bids,
They lied about the length of the flat lease (admitted it to me over the phone), when i asked their solicitors who i also employed to renegotiate) (I Know, I Know) they became hard to reach by email or phone... then a couple months down the line, they admitted they deliberately hadnt followed my instructions because they were happy... they are a disgrace, just want your money and they dont give a damn. Mark in particular did a great deal of research in finding the right price and placement to create a lot of interest and therefore offers. He advised us at all stages and communicated daily. The net result was over 8 offers, 5 of which over asking price and a sale agreed within 9 days of it going on the market. I'm not sure you can ask for any more than that?! They have also liaised with all parties to ensure a swift sale process, exchange and then completion.
This is the second time JNP have played a massive part in us moving and I would recommend them to anyone.
