Excellent service from reeds rains swapping tenancy from one property to another. Laura and Alaysha have been kind, conscientious and very helpful; nothing has been too much trouble. They have made what could have been an ordeal seem almost effortless. The entire team at Reeds Rains have been polite, efficient and professional right from the very first time we met them over 2 years ago for the first rental property we moved into - you would have to go a very long way to receive better service!

If I could give no stars I would. Rang twice to try to view a property to rent and Jake didn’t even bother to call me back. By his own admission, he has a memory like a sieve. His colleague was no better. I enquired whether a landlord would accept a small dog and she didn’t even bother to make the call - just made the decision for them. Such a disappointing experience. It totally put me off so I have rented through a competitor instead.

They would rate ZERO. What a joke. Looking for a flat to rent in Marple for our son, my husband travelled twice from Chester for a viewing on two occasions. Due to their incompetency on neither visits could he gain access, even to the second viewing where they had doubled booked! Reeds Rains Hazel Grove confirmed the appointment an hour before and then no keys to gain access. Next day travelling back, they came armed with a large bunch of keys for one small door - none of them worked. NO ACCESS was gained AGAIN. What can one say - other than ... USELESS.

I have exchanged on my purchase this week and due to complete next week. Due to various reasons out of our control ( higher up the chain) things could have easily become quite stressful but Dean has kept me up to date, liaised with the other agents and solicitors and answered all my questions and queries patiently and informatively. We currently used Reeds Rains to rent a house, we can highly recommend anyone to use Laura Phillips. Due to relocating there were difficulties with our application however Laura did her best to resolve this issues and even gave us the number to try and explain the issues ourselves. When we moved in the previous tenants had left the house a mess and our land lady was away on holiday. So Laura arranged to get the carpets cleaned on behalf of the land lady even thought this was not her job. Laura always responds quickly to emails and messages and tried to make the moving process as de-stressful as possible for us and the land lords. The only things we were unhappy about was the state of the house which was not their fault. Also when viewing the property they were lovely and not pushy like some are.

We rented a house for 44 months (managed by Hazel Grove Reeds Rains). So below is our experience as tenant. Unhelpful & unprofessional. Prepare yourself for disputes if you're a tenant. When vacating, they will have so called an "independent" (!!!) agent who will penalise you in all the possible ways until you give up your deposit and It does not matter if you agree to the report or not. They will favour "the landlord" (for their continuing business) in all aspects and you will have to fight for your obvious rights as tenant. They are NOT fast in fixing things and simplest problem will take some time, or unresolved. So be prepared. For every single matter, you will need to chase up many times and most of the time with new person who hasn't got a clue of problem's history. Your life will be photographed every three months in name of "inspection" and yes that is with your permission! If you have to rent from here, first ask for their fees and make sure you will keep a copy. Also make sure ALL parts of the property is taken video and photographed. Do not settle for slightest scratch or marks as you will be responsible for them at the end!

We met a few agents before Reeds Rains and left with more questions than we came in with because the staff were uninformed and uninterested. We met Neil Booth from Reeds Rains in order to view two properties. He was smart, informed, very friendly and by far the most professional person that we had met whilst looking for a home. He was more interested in finding the right place for us than just making a sale and went out of his way to accommodate us. Samantha Rudd took over from Neil to deal with the administration. She was equally impressive. She went to a lot of trouble to ensure that we could deal with it in our own time, made sure that we understood everything that we were agreeing to and made sure that we were happy and comfortable after the contracts were signed. Overall we have found, and still find Reeds Rains to be enjoyable to work with. Moving house is a difficult thing to go through made much easier by Samantha and Neil.

I have always been very happy with the service they have provided - they always reply promptly and go above and beyond with any requests for help. I would like to particularly recommend the lettings manager, Laura, who is excellent. As a landlord I have always felt assured my property is being looked after, and every effort is made to ensure that it is filled with tenants. I recently let my property through Reeds Rains, Hazel Grove Branch. I would highly recommend lettings manager Laura Philips to any landlord in the area. From the day she first came to look at the house up to date, she has guided us through every stage of the process in a professional manner. Her communication is excellent, emails are responded to quickly and her knowledge of the business is second to none. We went for the fully managed service which is certainly not the cheapest way to rent out a house but the service we are receiving from Laura and Reeds Rains leaves us in no doubt that we have appointed the best lettings agent in the area.

She was then told the property was hers as this had been confirmed by the landlord after reeds rains communicated with him. Today 23/04/2014, she was told the landlord changed his mind and was not going ahead. I rang reeds rains hazel grove for an explanation and spoke to the manager there who explained to me that some landlords are nightmares and this often happens. I then spoke to my daughter again, amazingly it turns out that the landlord actually works for reeds rains. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE THEY ARE CORRUPT.

Thomas very professional. Extremely friendly & efficient from the day I walked into the Hazel Grove office. Met Jake only once, but he also was very professional & very friendly. Sadly I didn't sell with Reeds Rains, a local independent was able to move faster. Reeds Rains ID checking is very comprehensive which is fantastic, but it does need to move a little faster. I definitely know Reeds Rains could have sold my home.
