Dimmy at Raine and Co, though not our estate agent has been amazing. He has maintained contact throughout a chain of 5 houses from start to finish. His professionalism should be noted, he has helped relieve what could have been a very stressful process and went above and beyond his requirements helping us even though we were further up the chain and not the agent on our sale or respective purchase. I was given a viewing appointment via email and text msg, all for me to get there and I waited for so long and after calling they told me they didn't include it in their diary and so they couldn't come down to attend to me. No apologies or any notice ahead so I won't want m time coming.

My overall experience is quite a positive one with Alex initially and Gemma who kept me informed through out the process. There were a few hurdles along the way but Raine and Co were very helpful throughout. A special mention about Gemma who is professional, courteous and helpful.We are very glad that we chose Raine & Co to sell our property.

We completed the sale and purchase of properties in Hatfield for my mum in 2020. Raine & Co where very responsive and the service was good quality and good value. We then used Raine & Co for the sale of a property in 2022 and were equally happy with the service. I'd thoroughly recommend them.

Really really poor and unprofessional service towards students. Left house in the state it was when we moved in yet had to cough up for 'cleaning costs.' I came across a very short agent when I had crashed at my friends for the night. She turned up to inspect and upon realising that I was there she went crazy and accused me of moving in without the agency knowing. (I actually had taken a room out with the same agency at the time in another house.) this bitter woman went on to say that 'your relationship together will never last, trust me I would know.' I was left shocked and amused that this agency employs clowns like this. Never again.

I have never witnessed real back stabbing before I rented my house with these people. The agents lie to you, belittle you and talk down to you. The smugness of some of them is un-believable and they have stolen money of my friend through their deposit without using it to clean the room like they said they would. And the management office are vile people aswell. Please do not use this company if you want a decent place to live and not have to deal with horrible individuals. The only nice person is the landlord and that's it.

Good Afternoon. Thank you for posting the review, could you possibly let me know which property you stayed in as I would like to to investigate your comment further. Any deposits that are held back are passed onto the landlord for them to carry work out including cleaning of the property. If you are letting with them, do remember to take photos of the house's condition upon arrival- because they will try to charge you for it at the end. Charging students an additional £250 (no return of deposit) to clean a house they have returned to and cleaned thoroughly (and haven't been able to occupy for months whilst paying rent) during a pandemic is very disappointing.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

hated renting the house with them! they are very ill mannered and has no consideration towards their tenant. They only care about MONEY rather then the comfort and safety of their tenant, for example, if we have an enquire about something they reply very late with less or no helpful information. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Dont even want to give them a rating

The house that you live in is a managed property and therefore you have not been dealing with Raine and Co but a separate company called The Management Office LTD that our properties are outsourced to. The Management Office works as an intermediary between the tenants and the landlord, unfortunately this means that when a landlord refuses to get work carried out or is slow to respond, it is The Management Office and/or Raine and Co who get unfairly judged. I can also assure you that The Management Office and Raine and Co do everything within their power to ensure that tenants are comfortable and fully comply with all of the extensive safety legislation that we have to adhere to. Although Kamal has never responded to this email, he has decided to rent another property through Raine and Co.

Awful company to deal with. I would not choose them again under any circumstances. Was lied to by agents (said the LL was on holiday, he wasn't) and left hanging for weeks with no confirmation that our tenancy was accepted or not. This is the second time I have fallen foul of Raine & Co's unprofessional actions, and the last.

Do not trust these people with your personal data. Despite being told to stop contacting me and to remove my personal data from their database, I am still getting unsolicited emails from someone called Gemma Matthews about appointments I haven’t made. I have now referred the matter to the Information Commissioners office.
