If you’re looking for a review on whether you should either sell or buy your property with MADE then this is the review you need to read. I had both my sale and purchase through MADE and like most of these things, it naturally came with its own bumps in the road. But it’s how the agency then deals with these things along the way that matter most.. Olivia @ MADE was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, I can’t fault the service she provided. Not only did she give solid advice and support throughout my entire transaction start to finish but she went above and beyond to actually ‘make it happen’. She is the epitome of what you want from an Estate Agent - someone that is competent, reactive and always picks up the phone. Olivia’s experience over the years is unrivalled and it’s demonstrated with how she conducts her business. Any hurdle we faced, Olivia ALWAYS brought solutions and not problems to the equation which is crucial when you’re going through a delicate process like this. In fact, the whole team at MADE was consistent and there was one instance, I was getting something delivered to the new property and they even arranged someone to go to the property on a Saturday (out of office hours) to take it in for me. Myself, my partner and little baby girl are incredibly thankful to Olivia for getting this over the line for us and in the time we needed it. Olivia, if you’re reading this, you are a G.

So often one is disappointed with companies who offer the world, only for their service to rapidly dissolve once a commitment has been made. Made are a refreshing change to this rule, assisting at the same high level from the day Ben floated in to value the property to when Stephanie congratulated me on the sale. Their professionalism, thoroughness, empathy, charm and sense of humour kept the whole project on track and me away from the window ledge. I cannot recommend this company enough. If only they had an in house legal and removal branch ! Thank you for negotiating and smoothing over the lumps and bumps in what is so often described as one of the major challenges in life.

They listed a property for sale on Monday morning. I called them on Tuesday to make an appointment for a viewing. They said they are too busy, so we booked an appointment for Saturday morning, that was the closest date possible. They called me on Friday afternoon that they cancelled my appointment as they already sold the property... I feel heartbroken. I'm a first time buyer who try to get on the property ladder, but the agencies like this one just make my chances way harder. I have the mortgage agreement in principle and I'm not just a time waster who wants to see properties for fun. They don't even wait a full week to leave chance for others to at least let them make an offer. I think it's a really unfair, careless and incredibly mean thinking. But, I guess, money talks...

Made are a truly excellent Estate Agent and have handled my sale with professionalism and efficiency from the word go. From Ben's initial valuation and advice on who was likely to purchase my property and when - he was right on every point - to the whole team guiding and helping through the whole selling process, it has been a painless experience from beginning to end. Elliot, Tony, Gemma and Stephanie fixed up 14 viewings in a 3 week period, always advised me first and gave honest and good feedback from the viewings. Once an offer had been made, Jess and Will dealt with solicitors and buyers ensuring that everything progressed smoothly and there were no unnecessary hold ups. It took exactly 11 weeks from offer to completion (Ben had advised me at the beginning that I would be out in 12 weeks from accepted offer so they surpassed themselves). Most importantly, they are genuinely nice people to deal with, always friendly and trying to do their best for you. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The team of MADE has been extremely professional, friendly, patient and understanding during the process of selling our flat and the purchase of our new flat. Their level of communication is fantastic and they will get back as soon as they can. The service they provide is personable and although we had a contact person allocated, we got to know most members of the team. When we got the keys of our new flat, they were genuinely happy for us and the ‘ moving present ‘ came in very handy! I would highly recommend this firm and we will definitely go back if move again ( hopefully not for a while though 😀)

MADE appear to act as agents to the higher quality (and more unusual) properties in Hastings. We've only experienced them as buyers, however they do give a sense of quality and knowledge throughout the process. They are very responsive, and all staff appear to have knowledge of each property so there is no drop-off in service. I expect they are a premium product (for sellers) but do provide a better service than their competitors in my experience.
