We approached Made to sell our unusual property - a 100+ year old hospital building which had been modernised in 2006, but required a cosmetic upgrade. Other agents viewed the house but only Made seemed to us to envisage the possibility that there were potential buyers who might really appreciate the unusual features of the property. They set to work finding interested viewers. Eventually this process resulted in two offers £25k above the valuations of the other agents. All along the way, Made kept us informed about viewings and feedback, and helped us negotiate the offers when they appeared. Joe was very helpful in all the later stages and kept us informed at all times.

OMG 5 starts is not enough. I rung the company to enquire about fees and also if they sell in my area, after seeing their website stated Average sale of house is 5 weeks. I then explained I have work that’s starting soon and work would be complete end of March, David agreed to contact me towards the end of March, I agreed and we both hung up… The very next day I get a call from a very smart proactive David to say, he has someone interested in my house and wants a viewing by the end of the week. Viewing went well and offer accepted. You just can’t make this up!! How the heck do I get my house sold without being on the market. David is a diamond member of his team and has and is still helping me very much with the sale of my house. David Gregg I am in awe of you, the fact you pulled this off the next day when I originally spoke to you, Thank you so so much.

Great service from Joe Finney @ MADE, made my first purchase far more bearable. Despite running into work the property needed during the process (that neither MADE or myself were made aware of at the start) the process was smooth and organised. Joe went above and beyond, always providing quick responses and chasing for info on my behalf, putting countless hours and patience into my many queries on a complex matter. It's far too common place nowadays to have to chase people endlessly for answers, or to just get ignored for weeks on end, so it was a refreshing chance of pace! Thanks Joe, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy/sell.

Estate Agency: Rude wman, ,badly organised ill-informed…

Day off taken from London job and a long drive to view two properties in St Leonards off Little Ridge, supposedly' organised' by MADE an Estate Agents in Hastings, covering St Leonards and Bexhill. What a joke. This really took the biscuit. Rude woman 'agent' who was completely unbriefed, totally charmless and represented this excuse of an estate agents. Despite confirmation by email at the office about the second property next door we were supposed to view, she knew nothing about us needing to view it and had no keys. This second property looked more viable than the first which had rotten weatherboard and signs of room damage and leaks inside. If the owners of the second knew that they had missed out on a potential buyer with no chain who had the money to buy they may have been annoyed I think.The agent set off the alarm on the first house and annoyed us and the neighbourhood as she lackadaisically went about vaguely trying to stop it. She knew absolutely nothing about the place. She could not have cared less. I tried to sound interested in her thinking she must be under stress- but no she was just one of those human beings who has no social interraction, and was ignorant. Awful. Never again!

Why have we scored 'Made Hastings' 5*Stars? Well, from the initial meeting with Ben, to all the interactions with the other members of the team we can't fault the service and attention they provided. Moving home was an incredibly big deal for us as we had been gearing up to be in the right position to move for the last 10 years. So when we were finally ready, choosing the agent that was best suited for us was really, really important. We feel that Ben was honest and passionate about selling our home and we had a good connection, which gave us confidence going forward. His team showed the same ethic and were always helpful and reassuring. Once we had secured an offer our Sales Negotiator, Joe, was Fantastic. Keeping us fully informed at all times and because this was the first time for us selling a property, was happy to answer any questions and guide us through the process. We never had to chase them and calls/emails were always returned. Other members to mention a credit to is Felicity, Gemma, Jacki, Charlie and Elliott, who were all extremely helpful, and were just really nice people to deal with. The service they provided felt personalised and not once did we feel like we were another cog in the machine. This is why we have chosen to leave this review and hope you have the same experience as we did. We wish Made the best for future and when the time comes we will use Made again.

After a painful year and a half trying to sell my flat, and working with 3 different estatre agents, I ended up going to Made in Hastings. They sold my flat in under 3 weeks, and 10% above the asking price!! What else can I say? From start to finish, they have been amazing! Great comms, very proactive, clearly great negotiators. And when we hit the hard part of the process (the legal part), they were on it constantly making sure everything was moving along switftly, and being very helpful sorting out issues. Joe literally MADE our move to Hastings happen. He went above and beyond to deal with the entire chain to keep things moving. Despite there being a number of complex issues that were nothing to do with his part of the chain he was always on the case and his quick thinking made the end of a very stressful day that bit less stressful. Even our solicitor noted that he was totally on the ball at all times. Joe was always polite and cheerful even when I turned into a crazy possessed buyer!! We recently sold our house through MADE and we had an excellent experience with them. On the valuation visit Ben provided a clear insight of the market and what our options were. Each of their team made a massive contribution to our successful move. From the beginning Charlie was great in helping us to understand what was going on and providing excellent advice. Felicity took the brilliant pictures and a flattering house description while Stephanie provided valuable administrative support. Elliot fielded many phone calls providing information and handled our questions patiently with understanding. Finally Joe, who got us over the line, was outstandingly proactive on our behalf providing us with many progress updates that kept us fully informed. MADE have been outstanding throughout our sale. Ben’s approach to valuation balances ambition and realism, and we appreciated having straightforward conversations about an achievable price and the market. Of course this was backed up by very good photos and marketing from Olivia. I can’t praise Joe highly enough. It is thanks to him that our sale has gone through. He is highly proactive and an excellent communicator. In my experience with house selling there are always times when you feel like crying and/or running away, but although this has been objectively my most stressful sale, I felt 100% better knowing that Joe was handling things. Charlie is also fantastic and the whole team a pleasure to deal with. Both I and my husband can be impatient and tend to micromanage when under stress, which I’m sure wasn’t always easy to deal with, but nothing was ever too much trouble for the MADE team.
