Moved into a brand new home a couple of months ago, and have mixed feelings.So many " basics" and so many "extras" to fit yourself but guess that's the way it is.Everyone that we have dealt with has been lovely, all snagging issues dealt with promptly, from sales through to site manager have all been great ( although I didnt like being asked to sign quickly as was near the end of the month for sales figures! )Our complaint was the driveway.All other houses have a lovely block driveway whereas ours has a tarmac one. Not at all as nice , looks cheap in my opinion and brings down the look of the house.We were told that it should have had a block driveway , and on the plans it was shown as having one. but when we complained we were told that nothing could be done at all, and we should have pulled out of the sale at the time,if we were unhappy.We didn't want to do this, the sales person did agree that should have a block paving drive so I thought it would have been rectified. and as waited a long time and to start the house search again would have been terrible.So driveway could not be re-laid and no offer of compensation for having a sub standard one that was not as advertised.Also, on moving in, I cleared the drive and garden of 27 cigarette butts! not pleasant.TRUSTPILOT HAVE CONTACTED ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS to be passed on to the company, which I have given, but as yet no response.Thank you My partner says that you have spoken to him to apologise...appreciate the call even if nothing can be done

9 weeks on and still outstanding snagging issues unresolved. We will be having our 5th visit from flooring people on Monday. Three previous attempts to remove glue residue failed and now having to have manufacturer to review (despite flooring boss agreeing that the entire LVT flooring will need to be replaced). Another major snag outstanding is the noise / sound from flat (s) above. We have been promised an investigation, but 9 weeks on, we are still waiting.

From our very first discussion about our wants and needs and recommended house styles right through to completion (and beyond) the whole team have been excellent.Guiding us through the options for purchasing to the part exchange scheme to sell our existing property the whole thing was a stress free as possible.Post sales the team have been attentive in checking and fixing those all important snagging items and nothing has been too much trouble.I really cant fault the service that we have received end to end.

My wife and I have recently bought a new build apartment at Boclair Mews Bishopbriggs. The sales staff in the marketing suite were and still are superb, they guided us through the process of selling our house and buying the apartment, with the utmost professionalism, and most importantly care.Both Laura and Charlene are a credit to the company and we class them as our friends.The site managers were also first class, Matt and Gerry would attend to any little snag immediately, and their approach to customer services is superb.

We selected their home as it was love at first site. Only issue was first they didnt agree for upgrades but they were great enough to upgrade floor, drawers and other things after emailing main building office. We are so much ever thankful for that. But still couldn’t upgrade kitchen top. They were so keen and interactive all the time and gave an excellent service to hand over the keys on the promise day. It is a lovely experince. We love the place. Still they work to complete small defects after pre completion check. I think they give an excellent service and I would recommend fir anyone.

Trustpilot5 months thrown down the drain..
I was 5 months into the purchase of a new build from DWH willow grove - the sale of my property started to fall through and nicely enough, DWH offered to look at part exchange as a backup method if my sale fell through. We got offered 10,000 less via part-ex and the conversation was ‘it’s not what you want, let’s see if the sale goes through as that would be best and quickest way’ - it was still viable if the sale fell through as we are expecting a little one in 8 weeks and would have found the money to get moved in.After weeks of waiting - the sale unfortunately fell through and straight away, we asked if we could go back to the part-ex and get that sorted so we didn’t lose the house and everything we’d already put in like extras and legal fees, snagging etc.We were told ‘no’ - it wouldn’t work… no real explanation other than the word ‘differentiation’ which wasn’t a problem 3 weeks before… So we were thrown into the gutter and lost everything - we offered to pay the £10,000 to cover the gap (which is standard practice according to other developers) and yet they just wouldn’t budge.. Most of the staff are helpful.. but the second you are out - you are OUT. They no longer care and stop trying to help. We are now back on the market (1 bed flat), little one due in 7 weeks - could have been in our dream 3 bed house ready for his arrival. Disappointed doesn’t cut it.

Having moved in to an almost perfect new build, DWH site staff have been nothing short of Outstanding.Our snags (only a few, and minor) have been dealt with when it suits us, almost immediately.Jordan in the showroom has been in a different league when it came to the initial sale, selection of appliances/flooring etc and also helping with the solicitors paperwork prior to the move.Overall. Our experience is/has been excellent and we are VERY happy in our new home.
