Excellent service!

A great company and great Agency! On my quest to find a flat in Bishops, Intercounty was the only one that gave me the proper attention and customer care.I have dealt with Harry S., most of the time, they have been great and so have the other staff i have spoken to. The process was smooth and everything was done so quickly i never had to chase anything, i highly recommend Intercounty to anyone and would like to thank you for such a great service. Having recently exchanged on our property sale, we found William and the sales team to be professional and made the process from entering the market to point of sale as stress free as possible.The final stages of the process from agreeing a purchase price to exchange were handled by Doug Whybrow and his communications and persistence was second to none. Doug was always available to answer any questions we had and provided updates as required.

I loved the experience with intercounty. I came to Harlow, didn't manage to get the time to get a view. Mollie was kind enough to go in to the flat and send me a video of the flat which I picked online. was quite sceptical. when I get to the place I found it perfect. I would definitely recommend the Bishops Stortford office, the whole team were very helpful & professional with what was a complicated sale. Doug Whybrow was extremely helpful & approachable and it was very reassuring to know that he was always available to help me out with any issues that arose. A big thank you to Doug. I also used the services of the lettings department who were all very friendly & helpful. George was particularly helpful and worked very hard on getting the rental all sorted on what was an extremely tight time schedule. It was a real challenge for him but he did it! Everybody that I had dealings with were very friendly & professional.

Being a first time buyer I had no clue…

Being a first time buyer I had no clue with what I was doing. Brandon was my contact at Intercounty Harlow and he was absolutely amazing!! He was always so polite and helpful. The rest of the team were also amazing when Brandon wasn’t available chasing enquiries for me and always calling me back with updates! I purchased my first ever house via Intercounty Harlow Branch. The whole process was smooth and completely stress free from start to finish, even with myself being 11 days overdue!!Our estate agent rep Brandon was brilliant, constantly returning calls and emails with a speedy turn around, keeping us updated as and when he could. I also found him extremely easy to talk to throughout the whole process.I would highly recommend Intercounty and should I require an estate agent in future its them I will return to them with confidence.

Excellent Service!

We invited a few estate agents to provide us with a valuation, and also considered selling via one of the new online estate agents. We decided to go with Intercounty even though even though they weren't the cheapest option. What a great decision! The whole team listened to our story and concerns and ideas. Special thanks to Will and Peter for initiating the sale, especially Will! Also many thanks to Ellen for arranging the mortgage and also to Doug for keeping us up to date on the progress and dealing with our questions and keeping the sale on progress. Intercounty in Bishop’s Stortford were very informative and professional in dealing with both the sale of our property and purchase of the new one. Doug Whybrow kept us well informed throughout the conveyancing process with regular phone calls to both ourselves and our solicitor. James Nunn and Olivia Vanlint continuously supplies us with information on new properties and viewings during the house hunting process, keeping us in the loop with everything going on. Very impressed

The team in Braintree exceeded our expectations ; polite, informative and efficient. In particular the assistance, guidance and support from Nic was beyond any expectation. The age and nature of our property presented some challenges and over some time other agents had tried and failed. Intercounty managed to do what others did not and the change in the quality of viewer, once we switched to Intercounty was quickly apparent, we soon moved to a sale. Proceeding to completion on a listed building however of this age was never going to be an easy process and this turned out to be the case. This is where Intercounty really excelled. Mediating between us and our buyer, providing solutions to awkward problems; providing tradesmen where we could not and through this saving us saving. This is the reason why I would not hesitate to recommend Nic and the Braintree team to anyone.

I have been dealing with Intercounty for many years , both for sales and rental .I have found them to be very professional and extremely helpful with all aspects of sales and letting .In particular Doug Whybrow on sales has been amazing , he kept me updated on the progress of the sale constantly ( it was a slow one ) but he did all the necessary chasing all the time . Very friendly guy to deal with also , so full marks to him . Julia Samson in rentals has also been very good at her job , I found her to be very professional in all my dealings with her . Purchased despite Intercounty, not because of them

We have had a mixed experience that got progressively worse as exchange in contracts approached. We twice arrived at the point where my wife and I agreed to pull out of the purchase due to questionable levels of service, rescued at the last minute by progress. Despite the purchase being agreed, there was an overly aggressive air in the way some communications were handled, as if to try and close a deal that was already closing. This was probably not helped by the Vendor, but your job as agents is to broker between two parties, a job I feel was not handled very well at all. Indeed your involvement at times only served to confuse and delay. There was also a poor attempt at creating urgency in responses when responses were actually owed by yourselves. You were called on this and back-tracked over a period of 24 hours. I would be happy to discuss further either face to face or on the phone, but don't do not have the time to write in the required depth.

We used Intercounty recently to sell our property and had previously been on the market with another agent for 5 weeks and only had 2 viewings during that period. We changed to Intercounty and the viewings increased significantly and the potential buyers were all qualified beforehand and in a good position to proceed. Within 2 weeks we had an offer which we accepted and subsequently completed.I was very happy with Intercounty and Andrew Kershaw and his team kept us regularly updated throughout the process and so I would certainly recommend their service.

After finding a buyer for our house in a couple of weeks, it came to light that the solicitor we had when we bought it had not registered it correctly on the Land Registry. A simple sale turned into months of sleepless nights, tantrums and tears whilst the recommended solicitor corrected this major mistake. Along the way a new buyer was found and the sale went through after 8 months. Nick, Dominic and James were there for every phone call, visit, grumble, moan and laugh.
