Please stop harassing us

We have a ‘to let’ sign outside our house. Apparently that means this estate agent can post three letters through our door in the space of 24 hours, one of them asking we call them to discuss the sale. We are not dealing with this estate agent and, for the record, will not do so in future. We have a sign on the door saying ‘No junk Mail’ and another sign saying please do not knock because we have a newborn baby. The letter box makes a very loud noise, and knocking on the door just after you have posted a letter which says ‘sorry we missed you’ is just rude. The fact that they can’t read (or choose to ignore?) either sign makes me very concerned about their ability to sell a house. Please stop harassing us. We already have representation for selling our house. Thank you.

I have used Snellers over the past 6 years for lettings and more recently for a sale. In my honest opinion I was extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service I received in the lettings side. I felt the Tenants weren’t vetted properly nor suitable, there was no direct debit in place so no security from rent, I had to chase up myself whilst obviously paying a rental collection fee to Snellers, which seems ironic. The whole scenario caused undue stress and anxiety and my flat was left in a terrible condition, causing unnecessary financial losses and I felt very let down. I would be hesitant to recommend Snellers through lettings based on my experience. The sales team however who eventually sold the property, were on a much more professional level. Both Gary and Tom were great from start to finish, informative and helpful.The only point I would make is the ‘sales negotiator’ seemed to be three steps behind myself the solicitors and the sales team so felt it was slightly superfluous. The sales team did install some confidence back. .
