Was unfortunate to have an accident with one of their customers, very nice to begin with, when they have to pay out you see their true colours. I produced all the documentation they asked for and more, but they refused to acknowledge any off it. They activaly encouraged me to get legal advice, they deny anything to get away from paying out. One of the so called team leaders couldn't even count the days I was off the road!Now I understand why people go to claim companies, whish I had.

Had an accident on the 20th of April 2018, which involved a lorry cutting into the middle lane on the m6 motorway, pushing me into the outside lane and causing a lot of damage to the passenger side of the car. Its 5 weeks this week since the accident and they still have failed to chase up the other party so he can accept liability which has resulted in me having to borrow £500 of people which has left me in a very difficult financial situation. When speaking to somebody from covea there was no help at all and you could tell that they really didn't care. Also today i contacted them in regards of getting a replacement windscreen because my MOT failed today because of it and they cant get it sorted for 2weeks which is now restricting my work hours, when i know of various people who ring there insurance and they have somebody out the next day to do the required repairs. Stay away from this insurance company as all that they're bothered about is the premium you are paying to them.

The most pathetic company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Assessors that do not know the Highway Code (they got it wrong). Legal cover was useless. It went to court, we won, now they do not answer the phone or emails. Avoid like the plague.

This company has made my life hell since my car was stolen. I put in a formal complaint only for them to tell me that they will be responding shortly and this was 3 weeks ago . They also had the cheek to tell me that they are under staffed and will have to outsource their investigation so I will have to wait. my car was stolen on the 23-10-2017 and then crashed - it took them about 10 days to get it from the police pound and then another week to do an investigation over the phone. They do not care less .I'm still waiting for a courtesy car but they cant give me one until works are approved on the vehicle . God knows how long this will take them. I have never given a review on anything in my life but as I usually brush under the carpet and forget about but the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is unreal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU ASK WHO THE UNDERWRITER IS . my insurance was bought from M&S but Covea are the underwriter .

Sorry guys - I should have reviewed these thugs when I had my bad experience with them a year or so back.Basically I got these idiots through a comparison site in which Swinton popped up using Covea insurance. I answered all their questions as honestly as I could, bearing in mind I had at the time 3 Fully Comprehensive policies. 1 for my private car and 2 for my company vehiclesUnfortunately when renewing my private car insurance, I was unaware that I had to declare a claim that arose on my van insurance.So after a few months with these idiots they at some point decided to cancel my insurance giving me 7 days notice in the prime holiday season. Guess what - I was flitting around the country hauling a caravan on the back of my car without a care in the world. Fortunately I wasn't picked up on ANPR otherwise I could have had both the car and caravan impounded with the obvious traffic offences, points etc.Brought this up with them when I received the letter when I got home but looking at their reviews of recent, it would appear this leopard ain`t changed its spots. Bombastic, uncaring and couldn't give a toss about their customer.Clearly a small hoodwink group. Fortunately I didn't need to make a claim otherwise that would have been interesting. Anyway mud sticks and the " cancelled insurance" causes problems with other companies.40 years of an honest impeccable driving record wiped out by some kid behind a desk. On that note I have just had a look on the Glassdoor.co.uk review site. Seems even their old staff have mixed feelings about the companySO BEWARE OF COVEA - GO FOR A REPUTABLE COMPANYWELL THERES A SURPRISE - NO COMMENT FROM THE COMPANY
