I contacted Covea at the earliest opportunity after the incident and thry lmmediately put their proceedures in motion and qiickly approved all repairs to my car and the 3rd party car. They also approved my choice of repairer for my car and have made the whole process as stess-free as possible.

I rang up covea to report an incident on a claiment I was the non fault party and they were really helpful, kind and easy to work with. The lady admitted liability and made everything stress free. They were easy to understand and made sure I was treated right. Brilliant people working there.

Shockingly bad.

Shockingly bad.Failed to follow up on a fraudulent claim (despite legal cover) saying it was not financially viable for them to do so. If I wanted to pursue it, I would have to do it with my own solicitor and they would not cover the claim if I lost. They were happy to take my premium though!!

At first after my accident I thought oh great every thing sorted within 2 weeks .I got paid out a bit less than I expected but oh well .I bought another car phoned my insurance to insure my car ,what did I get back ,will cost you 200pound.the accident I was .non blameworthy so I had a 1500 car and got paid 900 to write it off .I bought a car for 700 and expected to pay 1100 insurance not write im sure.

PLEASE AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! I had an accident that wasn't my fault in April. I am still awaiting my excess back 4 months on. I have had every excuse available. They have not even contacted the third party insurers once,which was the first excuse as to why I can't receive an excess or close the claim. The next excuse is because I had a hire car with enterprise they first require them to act with solicitors. There has not been a change in the case at all since it happened. I had trouble renewing my insurance as it was an extortionate price, due to the fact the claim should of been closed.

Updated review. Claim manager got in touch after 5 weeks by phone, paid for 2 months and explained what she is looking for for the next time. A very helpful call, good level of knowledge, albeit a few weeks late. Much appreciated. [Previous review. A company with awful service. I sent my standard claim for unemployment 5 weeks ago, no payment for 4 weeks. I call back 1 week ago and they ask me for additional information, which I sent immediately. Still no payment 1 week later. By now I should have gotten 2 payments. They don't respond via email and you sit on hold with them for at least 30minutes after which they tell you they will review your claim in due course and someone will get in touch with you by post or may be by phone but they can not guarantee this. And the best thing is that they continue to take your premiums on time. Definitely to avoid]

After 2 claims last year with covea, they still came in at only £11 dearer than the cheapest other insurer on gocompare so staying with them is a no brainier. Coupled with the fact that covea sorted out both of my claims in double quick time I’m one happy bunny. Can definitely recommend

Absolutely terrible. Avoid like the plague. They are quick enough to take the money off you but in the time of need they aren’t interested in the slightest. I had someone drive into me on the wrong side of the road over 3 months ago and they still haven’t contacted any of the witnesses.
