After being hit by an uninsured driver driving a stolen car and my car being written off, it took over 6 months and many phone calls, emails etc. and eventually reporting them to the Financial Ombudsman just to get my Excess refunded !! Will never use again !!!!!

GooglePoor company. Extremely difficult and frustrating to deal with. After having our vehicle hit by a Covea insured driver it has been a nightmare dealing with them. No contact about what was happening with the car and then was told the courtesy car was going to be taken away by the courtesy company. Every time we called we were placed on hold for over an hour and never ended up getting through. It was only after speaking to a receptionist that he ended up trying to help us and we finally had contact from someone. Gave us a ridiculous first attempt offer after having had our car written off, even though it was hit whilst parked. Was then told they wanted to buy the car off us even though they said it was beyond repair. Was told they would email us their address to send the log book too and never did.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleAfter dealing with this company for a claim the claim was a simple transaction but it took the company 15 weeks rather than the intended 4 weeks they said it would. Poor service, but on the other hand they did eventually pay out. With numerous phone calls and emails.

My partner had her car stolen of her drive and ended up being £4000 in dept part of that due to having to pay for her own curtesy car and various other fees. She had curtesy car cover and she still ended up having to pay. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. CROOKS!

I received excellent information and assistance following the accident. A rental car was organised for me all within a few hours of the accident happening and the staff were so helpful and kind. They offered reassurance at a difficult time and more or less took everything out of my hands and saw to it.

Took money out of my bank account when I have never ever used them, I can't even drive and I don't own a house! Just makes them look like a massive scam if they can get hold of others' bank details so easily that aren't even related to them and steal money leaving me with nothing!

My sister recently suffered a fire at the rear of her property and Covea have cancelled her policy and refused to pay her claim! After years of paying out, this is the result of her first ever claim. I would be very wary of using this firm after this.
