Choose this company at your peril. Don't believe the patter when they come to value your house about the service they provide. It's very poor. Be wary of the contract length. They get you tied in for 26 weeks. Just imagine, 6 months of poor levels of service trying to sell your house, but you cannot exit the process. My current house sale has just fallen through. Although this was not their fault, there was little or no communication with them between the sale and when it fell through. They are now holding me to ransom, insisting that I cannot instruct a competent agent for 28 days .BE WARNED

Connells Halesowen lettings team have been completely unprofessional in the service they have provided me. A male colleague on the lettings team, didn’t catch his name as they don’t tell you, proceeded to tell lies on a property I was interested in in Cradley Heath. As soon as the advert for the property come on site I rang, he advised me he would ring me back once he had spoken to the landlord to arrange viewings. The call back never came, I called again a day or so later to be told they had issue getting the keys and would call me. A few days later the property is advertised as let agreed. I rang the same colleague to be told it was a very popular property and they have chosen someone else. I wasn’t even offered a viewing and I definitely pass the Criteria you have for the property. Very unprofessional and you shouldn’t lie to customers. On this basis I will not be using your company in the future and will be telling anyone to avoid your company as you clearly have no decorum on providing a proper service to potential clients. Avoid.

Review regarding Negotiator, Ben Hulme. After having a very standoffish and quite frankly rude, sales executive at a new build site who presumed knew all about my financial position and what I could or could not afford, I wasn’t overly looking forward to going for the viewing on Waterside Grove in Wollaston. I have to say Ben completely turned that around by being the executive everyone would want. He was approachable, friendly, polite and could actually have a bit of a giggle with. Even if we don’t proceed with this property, I wanted leave a review regarding Ben who whole heartedly deserves recognition. He is truly a rising star. People are very quick to criticise but not so quick to compliment and I felt he fully deserved that latter. Well done Ben!

Me and my partner have received great advice and customer service from Alex Swingewood from the moment we started applying for a mortgage and getting it accepted Alex has been friendly and pro active on phone calls and emails to us dealing with our issues promptly and efficiently. Nothing was ever an issue and was a calming influence for my partner to ! Rosie Beadsmore (formerly Grainger) stood out for us as a very professional and supportive staff member of Connells Halesowen. From start to finish, Rosie kept my wife and I informed of virtually everything we needed to know about our mortgage. She chased up our lawyers, buzzed Katie (her colleague) to chase up seller and seller's lawyers on our behalf. Rosie made us feel relaxed whenever we were anxious. Really bad service wouldn’t recommend this agency. Me and my girlfriend were told we had a viewing and called to confirm we are attending for property to rent and got to the viewing no one showed up. We called the agency and they told us the viewing was cancelled and didn’t even let us know before we got to the viewing. Took us over an hour to get to the viewing. No communication was given at all to say it was cancelled. Very unreliable

If I had the option of selecting -1 stars, I would definitely have chosen that. Unfortunately, my experience with Connels is not a happy one. After a lot of phone discussions about a property I was interested in, I did not get any outcome. I am still waiting (and it has been more than a month) for an answer from Luke regarding that property. So, basically, they are not interested in helping people find their ideal home, which is the purpose of a real estate agency. I think that you, guys, have to remember yourselves why you are working in a real estate agency! I am very, but very disappointed! I will never try to work with Connels again! It’s pointless! We have just sold our house using connells and we could not have asked for a better service from sam and katy. Katy came and valued our home and discussed all of our options and she was so easy to talk to she made us feel completely at ease. I would highly recommend Connells Estate Agents Halesowen, from searching for a house to getting the keys. Initially when searching for a property Sam from sales was always ready to fit me in for viewings whenever suited me and answer all questions I had. I decided to stick with Connells for my mortgage process, and I cannot fault them at all. Rosie Grainger my mortgage adviser made the whole process run smoothly and kept us updated regularly. She was very responsive to emails, and I was never left unsure. She helped create an effortless experience. Unfortunately due to covid there was not any face to face contact, but her polite, welcoming persona leaked through the phone and I knew she was someone I could trust from the start. When making such a big commitment, a Rosie is what everyone needs! Great service from start to finish 👏 👏
