GoogleSmooth and seamless experience! As someone going through the process of moving and having just come from another country, there is an added stress in getting settled. Thankfully, referencing with The Letting Hub happened quickly and I’ll be able to move into my flat in due course! Ben has also been a great help in getting those last logistical pieces set up. GoogleThey are absolutely useless . I explained to them 10 times that my circumstances are quite different being a foreign renting . I never had any issues with any previous Lettings but this . They keep calling my 60 year old mom in Italy and wanting her online banking when she doesn’t even have one and doesn’t speak English . So far it has been draining and exhausting wish I stayed clear of them . There’s easier ways to rent out there and they don’t even reach back to you .

GoogleI’m only giving a one star review as there is no option to give zero stars. The experience with this company was diabolical from start to finish for myself, my partner and our two guarantors. We had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with this company while applying for a tenancy through an estate agent. The process is extremely long winded and very invasive. The software used to upload personal information and documents is not user friendly, glitched terribly and left us all feeling our information was not secure in their hands. The amount of information they require and the hoops you have to jump through are absurd, we have applied and been accepted for mortgages that require less information. During our reference checks even the most basic things were made difficult by their team, they refused to verify my employer as he didn’t have a website so stated that my employer could be fake, all the while my employer is the director of his company which is registered with companies house, he supplied the reference that matched everything I presented and offered for his accountant to speak with them but this was refused. When I asked how else I’m supposed to verify my employment I got told I couldn’t unless the company has a website as that shows proof. It was unbelievable and resulted in them putting an income that was 4x less than what I earn. The experience for our guarantors was equally as stressful and invasive, one of them is pregnant and the process caused her nothing but stress with a constant request for more information even after submitting this time and time again. We had been added to their promotional service which was an annoyance since the reference checks were still incomplete. The whole three week process was draining and it’s easy to see why others have also said they had a similar experience. We have gone on to use a different company that have been a breath of fresh air compared to this shambles, within a week we have viewed a property, applied for the property, sent in reference details and been accepted as a tenant. Avoid this company at all costs.

GoogleMy estate agency has been using The Lettings Hub for a while now. I recently come across Tom Miller at this company and he has been excellent in his communication, he has completely understood the complex situations with some of the tenants we have going through referencing and has chased referees when we required. He is a credit to The Lettings Hub.

GoogleHorrible agency. They keep asking you for same document each time despite we've sent them. Make it feel like you are trying to get a mortgage and not rent a house. If I had not rent a house before would have thought this is business as usual.
