I have being buying a house through Keaton's. The agent is Lak Singh. He has been first rate. He understood my 'needs', or requirements. I am moving with my autistic son. Lak persuaded me to look at a house, that I had been reluctant to view. Lak said it ticked all my boxes, and he turned out to be right. My son is very happy with the new place that he is moving to. While the Bow office seems full of nice people, it seems to me that the Shroreditch office is just full of annoying people. Second time I try to see a property and fail. The first time I was refused up front due to my limited budget (btw the property has been reduced in the meanwhile of 50k and the agent at the time was saying there was no chance for that..). Second time they engage me in a lengthy conversation on my possible budget. Now I understand that they don't want to waste time, but I really don't think they are doing a service to their clients by being so difficult. I don't want to waste time myself and I know what I can do if the right property comes along. They don't.
