I've been a landlord with Keatons (formally Royal Docks) for over 6 years now , Dave, Stephen and wider team have always provided a top quality management service for letting along with advice on the state of the market. After a recent refurbishment project was completed Keatons quickly photo'd and advertised the property and had secured new tenants within a few days at an improved rate.

Just bought a flat with Keatons from their Shoreditch office and it went fantastically well. Kane Griffin, the estate agent handling my purchace was always very responsive and informative about what was going on with the purchace. He showed me a property that fit my criteria perfectly instead of sending me hundreds of general properties which i felt really made the difference. The whole process was over in no time and everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend their services as it couldn't have gone better!

I sold my 1 bedroom flat near Bethnal Green/Shoreditch with the Shoreditch Keatons office this summer and can whole-heartedly recommend them. My sale was dealt with by Nick, Chris and Kane, and they were all brilliant. I had the bad luck of a buyer pulling out, but the guys got my property back on the market and taking viewings really quickly, and got me another buyer in just a week or two. I found them to be professional and friendly. They were in touch regularly, but not to the point of being annoying, and kept me updated with the sale's progression. I chose Keatons because of their friendly and professional approach, and because I feel they often have the nicest properties on their books, so my flat was in good company. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Let’s be honest, estate agents have a pretty bad reputation thanks to a particular company. But Keatons’ ethos is clearly to defy those stereotypes, and that’s exactly what they do. I was so impressed with how genuinely helpful and personable both Kate Bentley and Kadice Douglas from the Shoreditch branch were when helping me find and rent out my property. They repeatedly went out of their way, even when office hours were over. It’s rare to have such a painless experience when moving house and for that I’m massively grateful.

Having moved into the area in 2020, to live, and to invest, I've enjoyed much support from the agency network, now owning 4 properties in the area, with 2 more on the horizon. The only fly in the ointment seems to be Keatons, who, on more than one occasion, have provided more of a barrier to purchase than an aide. Whilst I'm sure OJ's aggressive attitude when arranging a viewing may result from just another bad day in the office, as I take blood pressure meds and don't need the additional stress, my solution was very simple, just to view the property with an alternate agent. In a call to a director, Ollie, this was agreed to immediately, but when I called the office to confirm the day before the appointment, I was advised that OJ was still handling this. The complaints process seems very simple, as they don't record phone calls, staff just blame the customer, and management are happy. When I tried once more to resolve with Ollie, in a surprising about face, he advised that Keatons would not be showing me the property in Tanners Yard (which they have since reduced), nor any other. I would recommend buyers try other agents first, and vendors, be aware that finding a buyer might take longer than you expect...

Keatons have been very poor throughout my tenancy. They ignored requests or delayed taking action for weeks at a time and then sent my deposit I paid separately to someone else. Would not use them again.

It took over 3 weeks to process the letting agreement. Keatons did not keep me informed during this process. Whenever I called to ask for updates, they would assign a new agent to my case. I felt like, once I settled with this property, they didn't care about doing their job anymore.
