GoogleAbsolutely ATROCIOUS estate agents. It doesn't matter if you call them about a rental property, give your name and contact details before ANYONE ELSE, they will completely IGNORE you, allow viewings to others and let the property, CONTINUE to advertise it as though it's available and NEVER TELL YOU. Just leave you waiting, hoping, that you might finally find somewhere to live after 8 months of searching, but no, you don't matter, you do not even exist to Big Move Estate Agents. Firstly, we apologise that our staff member did not call you back. We had over 60 viewing requests for this property and only a very short time to view due to the previous tenants demands, so we were unable to show even 10% of the requests we had. We do understand the disappointment however so have been trying to help find you a new home.

Aaron came to visit the property and felt the price was correct but a change in strategy was necessary to achieve this. My property was marketed extensively and in under 3 weeks bigmove achieved a sale £115,000 over the bottom of their new guide price, something we were extremely happy with.

We are very sorry you feel this way. The lettings property went under offer the evening before we messaged you. We are sorry you were annoyed the property was not updated in this time online, however the rental market is moving extremely fast and with Covid19 we were working remotely. The person you spoke to tried on several occasions to express their apologies and to offer you an identical flat that was new to market, located directly above.
Our staff member repeatedly said "sir, if you could please let me help you" in which you explained we were wasting your time. My colleague tried to help but after a while on the phone you did not let us find a solution to help you. The final part of the call my colleague repeated several times “ sir, if you do not let me help you, we need to end the call”.
We again express our apologies that the property you enquired about was no longer available and that you were not happy with the staff's response.
We have tried contacting you on several occasions to see if we can find a solution for you, with no reply.
We are an independent, family owned business who take pride in offering an exceptional level of service to all clients, from first time buyers to seasoned landlords with many properties. You can see from our reviews that we put time and dedication into ensuring this and again express our sympathy that in your opinion these high standards were not met. GoogleAlthough move in was smooth move out was a nightmare. Even though I transferred deposit to them and in contract it clearly says it will be put in a government deposit scheme, it wasn't, instead they transferred the money to the landlord without even notifying me. When asked about it they tried reassuring me that I'll get it back but it was a fight with the landlord to get it and they offered zero help and everytime they said they will call back they never did. Service was non-existent to extremely bad (including coordination with check out timing and handing over keys), they are amateur who have no idea how to operate a business. Avoid at any cost

Thank you for your feedback however, we feel there has been some miscommunication here. As an agent we acted on an introduction basis only and have not dealt with any rental collection or management of the property throughout your entire stay in the property.
For introduction tenancies the landlord is responsible for registering your deposit with an approved government scheme which we had received confirmation from the Landlord on this at the time which we explained to you when you came in to the office to drop off the property keys.
In regards to the check-out this was also something that was down to the Landlord to arrange hence why we did not involve ourselves in this.

GoogleVery honest which was much appreciated and highly useful in my situation, I am a landlord and was going to let my property to a set of tenants I was not comfortable with however as I had my property with another agent for almost three and a half months I felt like I had to accept these tenants as I lost a huge amount of rental income but something with these tenants didn’t add up. In light of this the lettings team from bigmove called me to ask if I needed any assistance and at this point I defiantly did no question about it! Having given bigmove the instruction to market my property they conducted one block viewing which resulted in two separate offers. When asking for their opinion on who to choose they happily provided me their opinion with a valid explanation as to why they would choose these certain tenants. GooglePoor experience with this estate agent. Have been dealing with them over six months in the process of buying a property. The information provided by them has been inaccurate, which meant that we could not complete the purchase and I have ended up thousands of pounds worse off. Thank you for your review. As advised on the phone and throughout, we always gave you the information provided from the sellers at that time. Ultimately we are unable to stop people changing their plans ( due to their seller changing their mind and their personal situation changing) and as soon as we heard plans had changed we informed you straight away.
Without going into too much detail, we offered you a below cost rate for rental to try help fix the situation that had changed that was out of our hands and unfortunately this didn't work out for lender and clients.
We are sympathetic and sorry this transaction did not go as planned due to change of circumstances out of our control, but reviewing the whole experience with bigmove we have investigated this file looking at emails and all communications from all clients and do not feel we could have been more honest, helpful or update you more.
