We purchased a home through MIchael Poole, Alisha and Jack were efficient, professional and advocated in our best interests throughout the buying process. We purchased our home through the Billingham branch of Michael Poole and were extremely impressed with the service we received. The communication we received from both Molly and Emeline was amazing and we felt thoroughly updated throughout the process. Moving house can be a stressful experience and this move certainly was that and I cannot thank both Molly and Emeline enough for always being at the other end of the phone when we needed them. I cannot recommend Michael Poole, Billingham enough.

From start to finish of putting our home on the market to the sale of the property the team at Guisborough office, Alisha and Jack plus Emma in the Admin team in Middlesbrough were extremely efficient and professional and very proactive in marketing our home. They took superb photos of the property and a 360 degree walkthrough video which was very helpful to prospective purchasers. We were kept in the loop re viewers, and they always gave feedback on viewings. Then when things went quiet in terms of viewings they actively looked at ways of better marketing our property. They also sent regular newsletters of the local housing market trends in the area which was very informative. We were thoroughly satisfied with the service received which in fact exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate in recommending them to any prospective house sellers

TrustpilotMP don’t provide the most basic customer service/experience
MP are only interested in speaking to you when you have a viewing. My House has been with them all year and because there’s been little interest I haven’t heard from them for months. No check-ins, no phone calls just to let us know they’re still trying to sell. Estate Agency’s are all the same, just choose the one that will charge you the least % at sale as all the agency’s do is use rightmove. We were promised proactiveness to seek out buyers, as they don’t speak to us we will assume this doesn’t happen and it’s purely waiting for potential buyers to find our house on rightmove. We’d remove the house from sale at this point, but would need to pay MP a fee despite them not selling the house or even providing the most basic customer service. We aren’t bitter the house isn’t selling but the least MP could do is suggest ways of pushing it, they havent thought of one thing, instead it’s us who come up with ideas. To just leave the customers whose houses aren’t selling and never touch base with them is unforgivable service. Poor, poor show, we thought the agency couldn’t get worse than our previous one!!

From start to finish your communication was exceptional, always available to help and always kept us well informed throughout what proved to be quite a testing sale, not through the fault of yourselves but down to the difficult personal situation we found ourselves in. We used Michael Poole to sell our house and they were amazing. Honest and realistic on the price and marketing strategy, really friendly and well organised, great co-ordination for viewings and we sold within 7 days! We also ended up buying a property from Michael Poole as well and they again kept us well informed and were on the ball with all the paper work. Would recommend them to everyone, and a special shout out to Victoria in the Nunthorpe branch for all her help and support!

Thoughout the process Vicki Phelps from the Guisborough office was there for us every single step of the way, we couldn't have asked for a better person to look after us and our sale. She made everything run as easy as it could and she was there whenever we needed her. I would highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a house! Not only does she do her job excellently but she goes above and beyond. She was always on hand out of hours and nothing was too much for her! GoogleThis is our second time working with Vicki at MP Guisborough and once again she went above and beyond in her overall customer service to us. Vicki was always happy to help us with our sale, she helped a lot when we had difficult moments in the chain, each time she kept pushing on to get us to the finish line. Sometimes our contact was out of hours and Vicki was responsive all the time, we never had to wait for the office to open for Vicki to communicate. I cannot thank Vicki enough for her hard work and dedication to the job, I have dealt with many estate agents and I can say Vicki is the best I have ever dealt with over many years. I do not understand how this firm is rated 4.8 when 10% of the reviews are 1 star and nearly all are complain about misrepresentation. I HAVE COMPLAINED TO TRUSTPILOT ABOUT THIS BUT HAVE BEEN IGNORED. Estate Agents generally hide behind caveat emptor rules to enable the vendor to hide undesirable aspect of the property for sale. But this the first time (and I have bought and sold many houses in my life time) I have come across a fact stated in a advert that was known to be untrue by the agent. I complained to the Managing director Richard Poole by email and written letter but both were ignored. However copies of these sent to the auctioneer were acted upon. Personally I will avoid this estate agent and recommend others to do so.
