The Partnership were great with helping us to buy a property. The had a different solicitor firm to start with - one we got suggested by our financial adviser and it was a total nightmare. The best thing that could have happened to us was to switch to The Partnership. They always responded quickly, gave clear instructions, their portal gave a great overview of the whole process so we knew exactly where we were and everyone that handled our case was extremely friendly. Additionally their fees are on the lower end. I can only strongly recommend them.

Your prices would appear to be marginally steeper than others but, once I got used to using the portal and the fact that one, in effect, deals with a team rather than a single individual, all three of my transactions (two sales and a purchase with six months) were handled very well. The confidence I felt throughout left me feeling that any extra cost was worth it. I was especially grateful to be given specialist help in estimating stamp duty liability.

We had to do lots of chasing were often called on to act as a go-between for the two sets of solicitors (via the vendor's agent) to find out where things were up to and to apply pressure. We spotted errors in drafted documents which sometimes had to be pointed out twice before they were resolved. And the fees associated with our (admittedly more complex) transaction weren't communicated clearly enough at the start of the process.

The partnership are currently doing my property conveyancing - most efficient and I'm pleased with the service. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the managing partner has threatened in response to a negative review on this site to get the negative review removed on the grounds that it is anonymous. He's also banded the term "defamatory" about (seemingly in a threateningly litigious way) - not cool or ethical - see SRA rules (and RIGHT to complain). If you can't take criticism, then don't court positive reviews or otherwise from sites like this. Take it on the chin, invite private dialogue and move on if you don't get it. It is a reviewers prerogative to remain anonymous (most reviewers don't like to have to leave negative feedback, believe it or not). I wish you well with your business, which is well run and provides a good service.

Not as great as they say they are, even if they get the job done, the portal isn't always up to date and they work on their own pace and agenda. I experienced rude and arrogant behaviour when I challenged them on this, and they were quick to lay blame on other parties involved. So even one star is too high for overall experience. Having read the other low scoring reviews, I can see I am not alone in feeling this way. I have no doubt it too will fall on deaf ears, or more likely be used as a platform by the The Partnership to boast how great they are for actually eventually getting to the finish line- their posted response to other one star reviews is quite telling, unprofessional to be so patronising to the very clients who pay your keep.I think the opposite of 'recommend' is deserved to anyone I come into contact with.
