I think the service was fantastic. The staff absolutely perfect - quick, efficient and wonderfully polite, engaging and professional.My one criticism, and it is quite an important one, is that advertising yourself as an online firm and not having online forms for submission is a bit of a let down. All of these are easy to update to writable forms - for some reason some forms are not? And considering I had to return to the same form 3 months later which still hadn't been updated... well I would say that's inexcusable. A big investment is not required to implement such writable documentation but one that I feel is absolutely critical to your business model.It is the only reason you didn't get 5 stars. And it is an important and indeed valid reason.However I reiterate, your service overall was impeccable; just change the fundamental flaw and it's 5 stars all the way. My experience was ok, not brilliant. The platform is good so you can track what’s happening and see your documents very clearly, it’s well thought out and easy to access. However this seems to be at the expense of personal contact. Getting hold of people by phone was efficient, they are accessible, but I had to take this in hand myself as telephone contact was not made with me in general. Communication of detail to me was lacking - I found out the date of completion being discussed from the vendors estate agent ! A couple of errors were made on my statement which I spotted and had corrected, which was done immediately but it all causes a bit more stress. On balance it’s good if you like working with a digital platform. If you are more of a telephone person they are there but you may need to be proactive make the calls yourself.

As long as you are computer savvy and prepared to drive the process yourself this could work for you. Its a competitively priced service, not particularly quick or proactive. I was liaising with a junior legal assistant and only spoke to a lawyer for the first time on the day before our simultaneous exchange and completion. I was asked to provide interpretation of a revised lease agreement - I kinda thought that was what lawyers do. We got there in the end !

I do see that you were dealing primarily with Becca, who works directly with just one lawyer, Amna. We do need to balance our workloads in such challenging times, so there will, I am afraid, be times, where we need to put resources where needed. So sorry that this was a problem.In terms of timing, the national average for transactions is that they are taking on average 19 weeks, so I feel that the timing that we achieved of an exchange in just over 7 weeks is reasonable.As you say, we got there in the end, so I am pleased that we were able to achieve these.Peter AmbroseManaging Director

Really excellent service from Neera and Roksana at The Partnership for our sale. They are super quick, helpful. The online portal helps you keep up-to-date with what's happened, what's next and what everything means. Sharing documents on there feels very secure, there are never emails or texts or anything with sensitive information apart from on the secure portal. Our estate agent has been very happy with the speed with which The Partnership have moved everything along, I have never felt like we were waiting on them.

Fantastic experience on our linked sale and purchase. From the start, the Partnership team were easy to deal with and their emphasis on keeping clear lines of communication is to be commended. They have clearly put a lot of thought into streamling the conveyancing process, in particular through their matter progress dashboard. The Partnership team, from matter inception all the way to completion, are incredibly friendly and always go the extra mile. We had a number of difficult parts to the transaction and they always pushed hard to get a resolution. Nisha Gill, in particular, as the lead solicitor on our transaction, was brilliant in terms of keeping us updated and giving us advice on next steps. So very glad we chose to go with The Partnership and we would happily do so again if move.

The Partnership were our chosen solicitor for sale and purchase recently. We found the portal to be very useful where we could contact our solicitor as well as view documents and upload the same. Our only issue was the clarity of how long things were taking. We firmly believe that the completion could have been done much sooner than it was. Some of this was due to our buyer's poor choice of solicitor but I do believe there could have been some more pressured chasing of said solicitor from The Partnership to complete sooner. Having said that I would recommend using them, and would use them again for any future transactions.

Working almost entirely via an online portal was frustrating. When I had questions, often they went unexplained/not replied. Previous property sales I have had direct contact with legal which makes the process much more seamless. TP we're ok but I wouldn't use them again.

Personally I would prefer a more direct communication rather than a portal as it felt less personal and I sometimes struggled to trust myself to understand all the legal side without having someone to ask directly. However when I did speak to the team, they were very helpful and efficient and it was a good service.

The online portal works very well, good to have almost everything done online to speed up the process by not constantly posting documents. They always responded quickly to questions. The weekly update could be more comprehensive rather than just a one liner. No chain sale completed within two months. Would recommend.
