Overall our experience was yet another poorly handled transaction. We weren’t notified until the day of exchange that that was the date of exchange. The transaction at that point was being managed by at best an inexperienced solicitor, possibly just a legal assistant. When the seller threatened to pull out at the last minute the communication was via an online portal with no recognition that the deal was under threat. Finally, when all of this came to light, no action was taken by management to reach out to us other than a standard pro forma email.

Have sold 1 property and bought another through the Partnership. Hands down best service I’ve received over the years of buying and selling. Helen and Zoe fantastic to deal with, having the same urgency to get things done as myself with a really easy to use portal that keeps you up to date consistently. The Partnership is excellent. They are staffed by knowledgeable, professional people and they communicate quickly and promptly. Their weekly updates mean you are never left wondering what's happening, and we have been free of the communication problems that routinely plague other transactions. In particular, our solicitor Amit did a stellar job and went above and beyond to make our complicated transactions easier. In my comparison to other conveyancers, they are also competitively priced and so I would whole-heartedly recommend them.

I understand you are busy. The Company needs to stop hiding behind the online portal. People new to these areas need professional guidance and to speak person to person with someone they can trust, before being asked to part with money. A rule of online is to never part with money without knowing who, why or where it is going.It's clear from other reviews that this is a common issue and the portal can be used to hide behind without having to communicate with paying customers. After giving negative feedback, was the only time I received a call from the company & the decision was more than mutual to part ways.I did over the phone in 20mins (with another solicitor) what took two days of online portal back and forth, without any guidance in what I was signing or what I SHOULD be signing.Let down.
I MUST apologise - I thought I had already replied to your post earlier, David.If you had called us, we would of course have spoken to you, but instead, you chose to message us through the portal to which we replied.When you complained, we did indeed call you.So sorry it didn't work out - but glad you have found someone to help you.Peter AmbroseManaging Director

Being a first time buyer i had no experience in knowing the ins and outs of property buying,However, Aurelia, Ismail and everyone else i had the pleasure of dealing with at The Partnership were exceptional. They constantly kept me up to date, they were always on hand with immediate replies. They made the whole ‘stressful’ experience of buying a home as least stressful as possible and i cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me.

The portal is so easy to use and such an efficient way to keep track of your property sale at all stages. You get a prompt that there is a new message or action required, so there are not the usual delays in moving things forward. The whole experience was really efficient and professional. Overall the service is good but there were a few key areas where I didn't feel the partnership did a great job. As I don't have anything to compare it to, I can't say whether this is just what dealing with conveyancing solicitors is like or not though!The solicitor and her assistant were mainly fantastic although there was one specific set of discussions where they could have been more on top of what was actually happening, and this would've saved us a good amount of stress! The handover to the completions team was not very good though. If we hadn't been more on top of the figures then we'd have ended up giving too much money to the bank, and it was disappointing that it took a number of follow-ups from us to ensure that the correct redemption figure was arrived at.Overall the partnership are efficient and easy to work with, but as they seem to be working over capacity you will need to stay on top of everything yourself if you use them

Having read through most of the negative reviews on here I can only agree that this company hides behind their online portal. I have had numerous emails ignored, so feel absolutely clueless to what is happening. I'm getting much more information from my estate agent than I am my solicitors. I feel really disappointed in the service I am currently getting from The Partnership. Particularly as a first time buyer in the process! I would not recommend them.

It is difficult to rate in the situation we have all been in as obviously working conditions are quite alien to normal. It was concerning that sometimes my buyers solicitor said they hadn't received papers and The Partnership said it had been sent and then had to re-send. Difficult to know which side fell down on the job. However the phone was always answered promptly and it was almost always possible to speak to someone handling my case. A little unfair to give a star rating. Overall I think fair service.

Recommend the firm to all and everyone. Never came across such competent, professional, caring and supportive lawyers. I recently went through a traumatic Chain purchase, without The Partnership (Lilian and Hirakshi) I would have given up. Instead Lilian help me stay positive and supported every step through pushing the sale. They are very economical for what they do. I would happily pay more for such 5 star service. Which firm will give you update every Monday promptly....and call you back within 5 minutes every time you call, that is if call is missed at all. I have no negatives to share what so ever. Strongly recommend The Partnership.

We have just moved house and the Partnership (specifically Becca and Buddhima) handled the conveyancing for our sale and purchase. Each step was great; the online portal was clear so that we could see which stage we were at, what we needed to do, what we could expect. It was also really convenient for sending messages and having all the history in one place. We uploaded documents there too, so minimal need for posting forms to and fro. We received regular updates and were able to get through on the phone as well if we wanted to. I felt they were very thorough, and explained our options at each step. they were patient and understanding, as well as pretty determined given someone else in our chain had chosen solicitors who were not very motivated to get things through quickly! Thank you so much, we will certainly be recommending you if anyone we know decides to move house!
