We felt there were large delays, few updates. It took the sellers team to get in touch with me personally to ask what was happening. We had been told it was the seller delaying matters.Once past this hiccough things improved markedly. The contract small print, leasehold conditions and what one should be aware are difficult for laypeople to decipher so guidance in these areas would have been appreciated.Thank you

A very stressful time spent to get the process done. A day before exchange of key i got an email from HTB that there was a problem on the papers submitted by my lawyers. I had a flight to catch that i changed last week due to late work done by the team handling my case. But im glad there was this gentleman Name Oscar. He got this work done on the last day. I must say he did a great job since it was very difficult situation for me because it was not convenient for me to miss my family wedding and change the tickets again by paying 2000£ extra

Disappointing service

The process started well and then my solicitor disappeared. It turned out that they had initially gone on leave without replacement, but on their return they seemed overwhelmed and couldn't keep up. The process stalled completely, not due to any difficulties in the sale, and the solicitor wouldn’t pick up the phone or respond to my messages. I had to make a lot of noise, eventually having a senior member of the partnership come in and help things along, while spending a lot of time liaising directly with the seller and real estate agent to understand what was wrong (which was mostly that my solicitor wasn’t responding to any emails). We managed to finally exchange, and the person who came in to look after the completion process seemed much more accessible, though even then they forgot to send me the land registry documents. An unnecessary stressful and time consuming process, would not recommend.

The only conveyancing firm I would use

This is the third time I have used The Partnership, and I honestly would never use another conveyancer at this point, especially considering the bad experiences I have had and the horror stories I have heard. These guys are on it, no detail is neglected, they communicate, you can check the portal at any time to see the exact progress of your sale or purchase and they are extremely approachable and friendly. I will be making more purchases and I will definitely be using The Partnership again.

Excellent solicitors - look no further

We used The Partnership for a difficult move that took a year to resolve. Our initial seller dropped out, then a buyer dropped out, but they kept us informed and gave assistance every step of the way. It's the first time we've sold a property and we were nervous initially about the higher outlay, but we cannot fault The Partnership as solicitors for their fantastic (and empathetic) communication and excellent online portal. Do not cheap out on solicitors - if something goes wrong, you want someone on your side, and with The Partnership they're with you every step of the way.

Let down by the Partnership

I have used the Partnership for both a sale and purchase of property previously. There have been several issues with my purchase (as far as I am aware, through no fault of the Partnership), but I have had to ask them to support with providing conveyancing files and other matters to support a potential claim against the vendors. I rang them today to ask for them to support with my remortgage conveyancing and, after an enthusiastic initial response, once they looked up my file, was told "they are not accepting ANY new instructions as they were just too busy and would not advise on my conveyancing. They did not inquire as to the timing of my transaction or any other details. This is extremely disappointing, as I have been through KYC with this firm and they have the full files for the property already. I can only assume they are concerned with being involved because I have had to ask for their previous support in my potential vendor's claim and they want to distance themselves? Otherwise, this makes absolutely no sense. Very disappointing - and not at all supportive of a loyal client. And really...not taking ANY new instructions. As a lawyer myself, I find this VERY hard to believe (especially with no details regarding timing).
