I have just exchanged contracts on my sale! I received a professional, efficient and friendly service from Rebecca and Laverne, and the team at The Partnership throughout the process. The email weekly updates are informative, and I also received immediate response to any emails I wrote whether I was asking or answering questions sent. When I telephoned the office, the phone was also answered immediately (sometimes before it had even rung my end) and Laverne or Rebecca were always available to speak to me. Even though they have busy caseloads their responses to me were always caring and supportive, giving me time for discussion, as if I was their only client. This process was stressful due to complications from "the other side" however I felt fully supported throughout, and issues arising were resolved effectively. I hope the transition through to completion runs smoothly. I can't thank Rebecca and Laverne enough for their commitment and support. To be fair, my solicitor and paralegal seem competent and professional; however, the company probably just takes in too many clients so that they don't really dedicate much time to each client. Every step in the already lengthy and complex process takes weeks and my purchase is now delayed. In hindsight, I would not have chosen them. This could've gone very smoothly with a more proactive solicitor. Now the irony is that I could become homeless (without a lease) while buying a home...

Online portal is great but costs greatly exceeded initial quote. Communication through the portal was super and made it really clear to see progress on the purchase. However the difference between the initial quote for the legal work and the final cost was almost 25% higher. I recognise all legitimate costs but the sales team should be more open to the likelihood of such a significant increase in cost. Overall though the Partnership were easy to communicate with and our purchase completed satisfactorily.

More than one year has passed since completion and they weren’t able to even make the sellers acknowledge an error in the transaction the partnership intermediated and failed to secure. Not to mention the sellers have been in breach of contract for 6 months and they again failed to secure the retention I'm entitled to. All they say is “we’re chasing” without any further information. You hire property solicitors to deal professionally with your case and all they do is share “we’re chasing”. They can’t even provide legal advice on a contract they presented to me. On top of the absolute incompetence, they failed to comply with UK GDPR laws when I filed a subject access request(SAR) and they did not respond within a month.
