TrustpilotCommunication was poorly, and the description of the property wasn't correct
The description of the property didn't mention no children at all, it even said that those with children it had schools nearby, I think the communication was very poor, and should be stated in the description no children to avoid waste of time.

GoogleWe had a great experience dealing with Gascoigne-Pees. Everyone we engaged with at their office was wonderfully friendly and they were always available to answer our questions. Chloe Prynne in particular went the extra mile. We are now settling into the new home they found for us.

Facebookliterally the most incompetent letting agents i have ever dealt with. Simply ignored for months on end, yet they have time to send out newsletters about their "Gold awards" for customer service. Ridiculous agency, daylight robbery if you ask me.
G.pees don't win these awards... Countrywide do and they own 50 plus letting firms (600 offices). G.pees just take the credit for the other 580 offices. Total misrepresentation.

They would lie and say anything to get you to sign the dotted line(basingstoke office) , they claimed the property was managed by them but once I ran into my 1st issue in a few days they refuse to do anything. Absolutely disgusting, steer clear of them

GoogleHighly organised and customer focused agency. Got texts and emails with matching property details and also reminder texts for viewing. Chloe at Lettings did a very good job of listening to what we need and dealt it with absolute professionalism. Highly recommend Gascoigne-Pees at Guildford.

GoogleVery disappointing service on a house rental in Guildford. Several months of a rental house with no hot water or heating and I had to threaten legal action before Gadcoigne Pees got it fixed. Every query and request through the whole tenancy took weeks for anyone to even respond.

GoogleFrom a landlord point of view they do not worth a try. Took them more than 2 weeks to prepare a contact which eventually resulted in the tennat pulling out. They then promised part of the holding fee which at the end they refused to provide. Avoid them at any case.
Hi, thank you for your feedback and I am very sorry you feel the service you have received has not met the standard you would expect. The tenant pulled out of this deal as he was apparently moving abroad, even though we found out he later moved somewhere local. It is company policy not to issue tenants holding deposits to landlords as a degree of time and work was put in by ourselves to prepare the tenancy which regrettably did not come to fruition. Unfortunately you did not then give us the opportunity to re-let the property for you and let it through another agent, we followed procedures and there was nothing that could have been foreseen to prevent such occurrences. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally and listen to your feedback, this is valuable to us in improving our customer journey.
