Poor communication and mismanagement of flat

Dealing with this estate agent was an absolute nightmare. The complaints department was no help at all, with everyone giving me different information. I never wanted to become a landlord; I only did it because I couldn't sell my flat when I needed to move. The letting agent assured me they would take excellent care of my property, but that was far from the truth.They found a tenant with antisocial behavior, resulting in numerous complaints from the estate management about the tenant smoking weed and playing loud music at night. The letting agent did nothing to address these issues. They failed to inform me of damages and didn't chase the rent, which was consistently late. I had to follow up with them every month. Despite paying a full service fee, all they did was collect money.They misled me throughout the process. On the day the tenant was moving out, they called to say they had forgotten to send me the notice the previous month. They also wrongly deducted money for a rental extension, which I would never have agreed to if I had known the tenant was leaving. To make matters worse, the same agency helped this problematic tenant find a new flat, despite knowing about the complaints, late payments, damages, and unpaid rent.The complaints department was no better, merely covering for themselves instead of taking responsibility. Avoid this estate agent at all costs.

Recently rented a flat with them. They were great in terms of getting me in within a week and finishing some of the works by then, though they did advertise the property as available immediately which it really wasn't. Amazing customer service from them, really friendly and professional. However, like I've mentioned, it's been three weeks and the flat is still not completely finished. I also noticed that they've got my title wrong, which is a bit of a let down. Would definitely recommend as the office is very helpful and works quickly to rectify issues.

Just a thanks from a landlord to the wonderful and helpful lettings team at Woolwich, and background team in management and repairs. One of the worst estate agents I have…

One of the worst estate agents I have ever encountered. I was given an appointment to view a property, but a day before, I received a message stating that it's sold. Despite that, I received another call seven days later, claiming the same property is back on the market and scheduling a second appointment. I requested an early appointment, but they couldn't accommodate due to the landlord's unavailability, forcing me to reschedule other commitments, including childcare. To my dismay, I received a call on the same day of the viewing, informing me that the property is now sold. Beware of this estate agent if you're selling your house; their professionalism is questionable.

This review is a little overdue but it is good to share our experience. About 4 months ago me and my partner bought a property that Mann were managing. We communicated mainly with Ravina. The process went relatively smoothly and without much problem and all in good time according to our solicitor. Our main problem was with Ravina, although usually nice in our previous conversation. We received many many pushy calls from Ravina urging us to do various things and push towards completion even when everything was not settled between our solicitors, in the end we did not hire her to work for us, she works for the seller and still we received many aggressive and inconvenient calls. We did not appreciate the lack of respect and humanity from Ravina in this already stressful situation as first time buyers in potentially the biggest purchase of our lives! As a buyer I would not recommend this company nor Ravina, I am sure for others as sellers she gets the job done but I can't agree with how she communicated with us. Total invasion of privacy, lack of respect, stressful aggressive calls are not what anybody wants!

Woolwich rentals team are great. We've been with them as landlords for ages and usually work with Rhys, Maria and Jeffrey. They're really on the ball, very personable and have s wealth of local knowledge. They really helped us out with sound advice when we had tenants in arrears too. Our area property manager Mandy has also been a great help, and we had excellent service from our previous manager, Keely. We're foreign landlords so it's important to have people we trust. I'm very glad we choose Mann Countrywide for our woolwich properties. We've had a few agents for properties across London and had problems with endless staff turnover and lack of response etc but the guys at Mancountrywide have been great.
