Foxtons’s account’s department have bad…

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

Although I didn't end up getting the place Sam McCaig showed me due to location change of buying a house, I had the best experience with Sam, the information he provided me really helped me take into account everything required in the buying process, my actual estate agents weren't the best so I was really happy I met Sam initially who prepared me and suggested Mortgage Advisers Alexander Hall who were also fantastic. Even though I did not end up using Foxton I suggest to everyone I know to go with them due to fantastic their customer service

We had flat on the market with Foxtons for a few months not achieving the goal. We had lots of viewings and when the offer finally came through it was badly managed by the agent. Miscommunication was the main reason it fall through days before expected exchange. It was quite frustrating. With new agent we had 4 offers within a month of marketing and a very professional help throughout the process leading to successful exchange. Foxtons customer service leaves much to be desired!

When I decided to place my flat on sales I had the placed valued by a couple of different estate agents. I decided to go with Foxton Greenwich because Chris ( Venter) made me feel I was in good hands. His enthusiasm, confidence and positive attitude was the key factor in the decision making process. Chris has been present throughout the whole process and always there to answer any questions I might have. His colleagues are a pleasure to work with too, I could not recommend them all highly enough

Extremely poor handling of deposit refund, lack of accountability and communication.

I moved out of my flat on 25 September 2025, and my landlord immediately approved the full return of my deposit. I provided my bank details to Foxtons on 3 October, and the online portal confirmed that the refund would be processed within 5, 7 working days.

Rented an appartment with foxtons at Standhope Gardens 62d Standhope gardens! After I found out that there were prostitutes residing before and that the bathtub collapsed 1 year ago and the wall crushed! Also, it was full of rats!

I had a good experience with Foxtons thanks to Hafsa Meho, who I worked with over a month. Moving in the middle of a pandemic and doing virtual viewings can be difficult but Hafsa really made it quite convenient for me. She was a pleasure to work with, finding me good options and answering my unending questions super patiently. I'd recommend her without hesitation :)
