TrustpilotDo not rent through Foxtons
If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

GoogleAmy has been absolutely BRILLIANT in what was quite a testing time. The communication was superb and due to cladding issues a potentially tricky sale. If you live in GMV I strongly urge you to use FOXTONS in Greenwich. They know exactly what the issues are and how to navigate them. We sold for asking price.

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

GoogleWe had a great experience with Dominic, who really took the time to understand what we were looking for in a property. He was super supportive and proactive in finding us places to look at that we might not have thought of ourselves, and he was also really helpful, talking us through the process. He gave us lots of useful questions to think about and we never felt under pressure or rushed. Would definitely recommend.

GoogleI’ve had the absolute pleasure of having Alexander S as my main contact at Foxtons while purchasing a property. He went the extra mile to ensure that I had a fantastic viewing process, with multiple properties lined up for an evening trip. We spent almost 2 hours together and he definitely put my needs first and instinctively understood what properties I would actually like. He’s the first estate agent that I’ve had that took time out to listen and not just hear what I wanted, which none of the other agents have done so far. Estate agents can get a bad reputation, but I have struck gold with Alexander. I’m so happy to have had him and I strongly recommend.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

GoogleAs a landlord of several properties in the Greenwich area I have for many years used Foxtons to source tenants. Regrettably, on occasions I have not always received the kind of service I would expect from your agency . Divyesh is the reason I stay loyal to Foxtons. He is professional, knowledgeable, personable and most importantly - RELIABLE! Because, without reliability all the other attributes I have listed are meaningless to a troubled client. When your time is being wasted and you are being pushed from pillar to post, calls not returned, told to call a 'different number' , the frustrations can be most stressful. I call Divyesh. And even if the issue you drop in his lap is handled elsewhere, he will help facilitate matters. Divyesh will ALWAYS returns my calls and it is always a pleasure to speak to him. Thank you Divyesh. GoogleMy 5 star rating is in relation to Sam McCaig. I have found the whole process of selling my flat hugely time consuming and stressful but, as soon as Sam came on board, he took all the pressure away from me. He literally took on my solicitors and the buyer's solicitors and continually chased them to deal. At times, it must have felt like a full time job for him! He kept me fully updated at all times and was always cheerful and optimistic with me when I was feeling overwhelmed by the process. I can't recommend Sam enough. He was literally my lifesaver! GoogleI was lucky enough to work with Sam from Foxtons Greenwich. He was extremely helpful and friendly during the process and always there to assist when there were queries regarding the purchase. Sam was diligently emailing and calling all the parties involved during the process and pushing the case forward. Even though we faced many challenges, with his professional attitude he helped me to go through this stressful period. He is a valuable asset for Foxtons Greenwich and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

GoogleThey helped during my search for buy. I worked with Sam most of the time. He explained me not just about the flat but also about neighborhood, market dynamics etc. Overall, my impression was, professional, knowledgeable, take their time to learn about the properties they are marketing, follow up with you and offer alternatives. Processes were also smooth and fast such as offer process. Also, briefly worked with Florence, she was also very helpful and send me alternatives and details. Although in the end, I didn’t buy, I would happily refer them to friends and family.

GoogleI had a very positive experience with Foxtons recently. I was a potential buyer, and Sam (the Foxtons agent) was a huge help. He knew his stuff about all the properties he showed me and genuinely seemed to know a lot about the areas I was interested in. He gave some great insights into the local markets and I found his insights on the general state of the property market very useful. He and Florence were both very engaged without ever being 'pushy', which I appreciated. Thanks to both of them!

GoogleAs an overseas landlord my sale needed closer attention than usual. Foxtons in Greenwich found me a buyer in a difficult market and stuck with me through a frustratingly long process, one that would’ve undoubtedly been longer had Florence not shown uncommon patience and persistence to keep the buyer and solicitors moving. Florence made countless calls and enquiries when I was simply unable to because of my location. I would recommend Foxtons Greenwich and in particular Florence without hesitation!
