Exchanged contracts today & we complete in the New Year! That's 14 weeks from making my initial offer which is pretty impressive these days. I had no idea that the sale would be assigned a Sales Progressor" by the estate agent. Megan C made contact as soon as the offer was accepted and she was there to liaise with me and the seller plus both solicitors to push the process through on a reasonable timescale as well as answering all those questions a solicitor makes you feel stupid (and sometimes charges) you for asking. Having bought properties in the past, I can't praise and thank Megan enough for her good humour and support. She certainly took a lot of the stress out of the process for me and was a total star from start to finish. I should also mention her 5-star inclusion and diversity awareness - I requested all contact to be via email to accommodate neurodivergence and this was facilitated without issue or hiccup.I hope management pass on and discuss positive reviews because if they want an example of how to effectively and efficiently engage with clients - Megan C is the staff member to see.

What they do well is that when they hand over to a new team they come fully updated - no repetition required. GoogleAvoid this so called estate agents Minors and Brady at all cost if you are thinking about buying from them they will treat you with contempt because they see the Vendor as all more important due to the lack of properties in the area, so remember when buying its a its a sellers market so they know buyers are desperate do not let them pressurise you into buying saying they will sort it with vendor to get work done because I can assure you it won't be under no circumstances are they to be trusted, in short buyer are insignificant and of no importance unless you are getting your mortgage through them and paying £1000 in admin fees. They are great if your selling property, but terrible if your buying, unlike most estate agents across the UK who actually send estate agent personnel to do a property valuation survey who view the property by visiting the property before putting on the market from the offset, Minors and Brady openly admit they don't do visit and survey the properties physically before they put it on the market, they simply sell a property on a website instead with little admin, the rest is left to solicitors and buyers to chase, they love to pester a buyers solicitor's with spite to escalate costs for the buyer before checking with vendor when its really the buyers solicitor who is waiting on the vendors solicitors who haven't responded this is because Minors Brady's staff are totally inept and love wasting time and money for the buyers because they don't care if it falls through as they have all the time in world and don't care about the buyer or vendor, as far as they are concerned there is always another mug around the corner to buy the property, besides anything more than that would leave them liable, for them it's all about maximum money for minimum effort they send a another company to photograph the property then post these on their website and rightmove, in addition to this lack of ownership and concern they never check the property before exchange to ensure its clean that includes floors, skirting, cooker, dishwasher and all fitting remain such as light bulbs, heating thermostats with leaks from plumbing, this maximizes their commision, talk about money for old rope they don't even have to get out from behind their desks, I wouldn't buy a loaf of bread of Minors and Brady as they have a lack of after sales care most other Estate Agent have and my property passed survey inspection but the the three months before exchange the propery was abused and when I moved in the windows had been left open by seller and rain got in, the place was soaking wet, they even took the only thermostat control with them and its took weeks to order and deliver and fit, so the house was not only damp but freezing until I could get a boiler engineer to install the new thermostat, the cooker and dishwasher were full of mould and the smell was gut-wrenching, also bulbs were missing everywhere and large holes left in the walls and one wall was soaking wet. Minors and Brady simply said they are not liable and its not their problem and to complain to my solicitors, so I contacted my solicitors who said it would cost thousands to start proceeding and the money would be better spent on fixing things which turned into £15,000 later.... I so wished I had walked away from Minors and Brady
