Just recently sold my father’s old house and I’m looking to buy a new place to call home. I was in Lowestoft, and went to a couple of estate agents. No one had what I wanted. Then I went into minors & Brady. I was greeted with smile and a warm welcome by Connor. I told him what I was looking for he gave me some leaflets. He made some great suggestions. Dispite having had a great experience five years ago when M&B sold my home, sadly the lettings division did not live up to the same standard. From unreturned phone calls, excuses still using previous mobile number, dispite calling me on my current number, nearly and hour late to one viewing, with no notifcation on running late, arriving when the landlord had rattled on about how bad they were to deal with and certain the reason my application was declined, with the succesful applicant having gone through the landlords preferred agent, who he asked me to contact in future. That agent went onto secure me a similar property within weeks, though according to M&B as I had a blip on my credit history (dispite renting my current property for over five years) I would have to find a guarantor or pay a years rent in advance, which turned out to be absolute rubbish!"
